I’m another! I didn’t have a switch at that point but knew someone with a WiiU they never used.

Despite being such old hardware, BoTW nonetheless proved revolutionary. I don’t think anyone in 2017 came away from it thinking, “oh, what could have been!” It was already grander than anything since Ocarina of Time, and resolved a lot of open world design issues that have plagued games in the 20 years since Ocarina.

I always thought it annoying, even as I understand why, that the Wii U version couldn’t use the tablet controller as a Sheikah Slate while playing the game through the TV (Nintendo wanted the same experience on the Switch and the Wii U...so in essence, the Switch was holding the Wii U back :))

I feel like I may be one of the few people to play BOTW on Wii U, pretty much exclusively on the pad.

And now the clunky ancient Switch is holding back Tears of the Kingdom. Seeing the TV ads for it I’m quite amused by how lo-res and lo-fi it looks even in the commercials - though I’m sure it will be a lot of fun.

Let’s be honest. 99% of the people who criticize Mr. Beast would *love* him if he spent all of his money on himself but made 5 minute videos one a month about how evil capitalism is.

I mean it wouldn’t be the first time that zelda goes cross-gen...

nah, they are pretty much extinct. Hell, even the dudes with hexagonal PFPs in Twitter (pre-Musk at least, I don’t know today) were getting rarer by the day. And good riddance.

remember when the comments were infested by defensive cryptobros? Terrible times.

As long as there are more options than just fucking ponchos. like what WAS the first game’s thing about poncho’s anyways?! like the word “poncho” is fun, but the article of clothing is dumb unless its raining.

picking up an Xbox instead of ... Switch.

I might be alone here but I don’t particularly care for exclusives. I’d just rather have a good platform with good games that functions. My Xbox gets more use than any of my other devices that have good exclusives save for the few weeks I’ll play a zelda or a Spider-man. I still have no intention of getting a PS5 just

I remember finally using it and discovering it’s just Slack. Or Slack is just Discord. Basically everything is the same as everything else and I can’t get it out my head that they’re basically just recreating AOL instant messenger and chat rooms.

Has Discord even implemented a method to search for an exact string? If you can, I have no idea how, and would appreciate the info, if it’s possible to perform.

For example: Many of my favorite Magic: The Gathering related forums for sharing information have fled to Discord and shut down. My problem with Discord is

Maam this is a video game website

There’s a difference between misdelivered (You received your neighbors package) and a package addressed to you.

Um actually - Under federal law (And many states) if you receive something you didn’t order I believe you are legally allowed to keep it as a gift (As long as the package was addressed to you). It’s to prevent companies from shipping things to you and trying to collect payment later.

You should probably look that up, try the FTC website, particularly under what to do if you get unordered products. I’ll spoil it a little bit and quote it directly for you;

By law, companies can’t send unordered merchandise to you, then demand payment. That means you never have to pay for things you get but didn’t

Google is your friend when it comes to finding out information.

Street dates aren’t legally enforced on consumers, that’s a legal contract between manufacturer and distributor. If you are shipped something from a company then it is yours legally, even if you didn’t pay for it.
