Good thing I stopped buying fresh new GPUs. I’ll be looking for a cheap 30 series next year to replace my 1070. There is no reason to pay this much. If people (which they never will) would just stop buying for just half a year, they’d get the hint and drop the price. You watch, they’ll post record profits while

How can a console with a high end GPU cost 400 and a standandalone high end GPU cost 1300. It looks to me like GPU makers are ripping PC gamers trying to get PC gamers to pay the cost miners use to paid.  And miners paid that money because they where making money from the cards, these GPU’s are not worth has much for

welp back to console gaming for me once my 1080ti dies. I can’t afford a graphics card that costs more than an entire PC just a few years ago

The problem is even the cheaper cards are getting expensive. I bought a 1060 years ago, and it goes for just as much now; and the new cards are set to be far pricier. It’s not just the ceiling going up, it’s the floor too.

Who wants to tell this man that the market is the one to set prices, not him...

I really hope AMD does not drop the ball on this. This is one of their big opportunity to take a shit all over NVIDIA and take the lead.. if they’re competent enough to make it happen.

I cannot tell you how badly I want RDNA 3 to kick butt and come eat all of Nvidia’s lunch. Both of them overbooked chips before the crypto crash, and if AMD doesn’t flub this opportunity, they can sell through that inventory while Nvidia tells us to get over their terrifying prices.

And this is why SE is swimming in debt and had to sell off their IPs, meanwhile their insane CEO is all “let’s gamble company money and what little goodwill we have from fans on NFT Blockchain garbage durrhurhurhur”

With the benefit of hindsight, I think Hironobu Sakaguchi probably made the right move when he just up

Maybe I’m just getting old and soft, but my mind went to all the devs and team members who actually probably worked very hard on this game and were likely to some degree mismanaged. Hopefully they work on enough not to have this kind of thing affect them too much, but I’m sure it can’t be great for morale.

Maybe this could change things. I’m not saying devs HAVE to do it but it would be really cool to see more stuff like this come from official channels. Kind of like what they did showing off the lighting and sound tech with the Dead Space remake.

what im getting from this is that in order to see more behind the scenes footage of game development and a better understanding on how triple a games are produced, we need to generate takes so nightmarishly bad that developers will have no choice but to dunk on them

GTA6 is being made. Potential woman protagonist. Potential Vice City as a location.

Right? Besides the security aspect of this and the potential for the leaker having more than just a running build this says so much more about the audience than the game. Even the “maybe this is fake” angle is so bizarre, considering how hard and pointless it would be to accurately depict all the work in progress

Can you even draw anything from these leaks? It’s super old footage so I’m not sure what could be drawn from this other than GTA6 is being made, like they’ve said previously.

Please, by all means, highlight a better group of game journalists than Mike Fahey, Evan Narcisse, Jason Schreier, Maddy Myers, Cecilia D’Anastasio, Patrick Klepek, Gita Jackson. Name the site or the journalists. Go on, try your best.

I’m surprised they’re still having a single player mode at all, after having absolutely zero additional content for the single player in GTA5 after 9 years

“New Switch hardware coming” is a hell of a way to word “there is a slightly differently colored Switch dock and controllers to tie in with the game”.

I used Stadia to play Cyberpunk when it first came out, as Google sent me the controller (which is quite good) and a 4K Chromecast for free + $10 off any game. I was honestly really impressed! Google really should have done better here to support/launch it, but its not quite dead yet so who knows. But being able to

I was using the same internet connection I was before Stadia during my time using the service, I think at the end of the day your own Hardware is always going to be the best option if you want those super 4k images or what have you, but Cloud gaming services are great for casual gaming or for people who just want to
