It was super entertaining. You’re definitely in the minority if you don’t think so. I had a ton of friends that hate NASCAR texting me telling me how cool it was. Not to mention the love it was getting all across twitter.

Now playing

To build on Grey Fox’s post, here’s what the finish looked like on TV (Hamlin won while driving barefoot at home). But some drivers right now are getting simulation rigs for iRacing to participate, while other drivers already have souped-up rigs at home ranging in the $40K territory.

NASCAR’s race was way better than Formula 1's.

35 car field, all professional drivers. Top division drivers were guaranteed a starting spot, lower division drivers had to race their way in through the qualifiers. Some drivers managed to get sponsors just for this race. You could really tell which drivers were

NASCAR did that. Today. It was broadcast on FOX.

2020: When e-sports finally getting acknowledged as sports by the rest of the world.

Hell yeah, my dude is gonna be pretty af.

I think it would be if this sector had any real competition whatsoever and didn’t have the FCC in their pocket.

That’s... not really how networking works. A single modern fabric switch like ISPs use in their datacenters has a throughput in the hundreds to thousands of gigabits. I’m glad they are allowing controller support, Diablo 3 was way better on consoles because of it.  Fight me!

To put this bluntly, the one thing that I never bought into even as a kid who only had TOS and the Pocket Books to follow was the idea that somehow the Federation was a utopia or that Starfleet was 100% egalitarian.

Tempestus Scions, the elite part of the Imperial Guard (aka the normal humans).

You leave Tom out of this. The dude gives people large interest free loans for which the only restriction is that he won’t give you more until you pay it back.  The dude’s a financial saint.

But can I play with an army of just Hups and Deets?

The Netflix show is worth your time. It is one of the best fantasy shows they have published in recent years.

Well you’re throwing the baby out with the bathwater here and this article isn't "gamer outrage," it's level-headed criticism of a product

That’s what I was wondering. I still think it was a missed opportunity that Nintendo didn’t release a Virtual Boy collection on 3DS or the games in eShop.

This will make a lovely episode of Defunctland some day. Assuming, of course, that they actually break ground on any of these.
