I’m wondering this too. Is this just an X|S enhancement like we’ve seen for other games that I’ll get automatically or are they going to force people to buy GTA V yet again?

We actually don’t know where “Vinland” was. We do know that Vikings had settlements in Newfoundland for sure, but we don’t know if that was considered Vinland or not. It’s just a location we’ve found evidence of them.
I’m not sure what the issue was with you. I’ve used it since day 1 and never had a problem. My only initial problem was some noticeable lag when I ran it over wifi on my tv in basement (the router is upstairs, so the connection wasn’t very stable), but when I connected it via wired connection, I haven’t noticed any…
I mean Stadia doesn’t have input lag either. The disappointing thing about all of the Stadia news is in the end, it’s actually a solid product. It does what it was supposed to do. On a decent connection, you can play high-end games in 4k with no detectable lag. That’s potentially a game-changer where someone without a…
Bingo. I think people arguing against Blizzard don’t understand how trademarks work. They give the holders more rights, but at the cost that they have to actively defend it. This is opposed to a simple copyright, which has fewer rights but you have legal rights to it that don’t require an active defense.
I think there were more Vita fans upset about this than PS3 fans. I mean they were still putting games out on the Vita (some were still scheduled to be released and cancelled because of this announcement), which was really screwing over some devs who spent all that time and money putting a game on the system and then…
They couldn’t add backward compatibility because they were too busy adding controller tech?
Yeah, I can definitely support the claim that Nintendo innovated with the Switch, but I can’t really name what innovation Sony did with the PS5. It’s just a more powerful console. There’s hardly anything there that excuses them from supporting backward compatibility.
Yeah, that really bummed me out. I love her character but it’s weird that she’s just suddenly missing in every cutscene. I get that she’s the only optional character, but it seems like they could have done a little to integrate her into the rest of the story.
Spiderman is on PS4 too, though. As far as I know, the only exclusives are the Demon’s Souls remaster for PS5 and The Medium for Xbox Series X/S.
I’ve got gigabit Internet too, and it usually tops out at a few hundred mbps on my Xbox. That’s if my games are closed. If something is running, even in the background, it won’t go more than about 40 mbps.
The Medium. It was the first, and currently only, Series X/S exclusive game.
Streaming is the first thing that’s made me feel old. I don’t get it. I mean I’m not attacking people for liking it. If you do, have at it. I just personally don’t understand. I’ve tried to watch streaming and it just feels like a hyper-sensory overload of fast-moving chat and either watching someone play a game or…
There’s no way you can get a gaming PC that will smoothly run a 4k game for $500. You’re suggesting getting an entirely new PC for your TV and that’s even more absurd than the people suggesting to just plug up your existing PC to your TV.
It might have been an option like 10 years ago when I lived alone in a one-bedroom apartment and my PC was a 10-foot HDMI cable from my TV. Now that I’m a married father in a two-story house, it’s an absurd suggestion. I don’t get people still acting like plugging up your PC to your TV is a valid solution for the…
But the WiiU version was released in 2018, years after they had already been releasing stuff for other platforms.
Mario RPG was released on the Wii virtual console and even on the WiiU virtual console just a couple of years ago. It seems strange that Square would suddenly be against licensing it for the Switch.
But F1 2020 wasn’t just “jersey-and-roster” updates. In fact, quite the opposite is true. They added a ton of content to it, most notably the ability to create and manage your own team. F1 2020 is pointed to when people are talking about what’s wrong with NASCAR Heat 5, which is like you were saying, basically just…
Geez, I knew about Michael O’Hare, but I had no idea about the rest. I loved this show when it first came on. I might have to give it a try again, I’ve never rewatched the whole thing, just a couple of random episodes here and there.
Yep, same here. We’re in our thirties, married with kids. Thanks to COVID, there’s not really any other reasonable stress relief in the evening when the kids are asleep. You’re not going anywhere and if you want some alone time without your spouse, you’re probably watching TV, playing video games, or reading. You’re…
