Super Hot VR definitely deserves a place on that list. It’s short, but it’s one of the best games I played all year, VR or not.

If you’re hacking the game yourself, maybe I can kind of see it as similar to speed running at the expense of others, but let’s be honest, that’s not what 99.9% of these people are doing. If you’re just downloading (or in many cases, paying for) an aimbot program someone else made, you’re not doing anything like…
This was my problem with the first game. It gave you all of these amazing ways to kill people and then seemed to push you into playing as the good guy and made you feel bad for killing them. Non-lethal was boring, but it was like the game wanted you to play that way. I’d prefer a game that lets you have fun regardless…
The headset comes with a sensor and the Touch controllers come with another. So, you only need one additional sensor. So, $79.
You can start invasions at any time, just the lowest level everything scales to is level 10. I started a gnome hunter yesterday for fun and at level 6, I inadvertently was sent to a place currently being invaded and realized I could join in, just everything was level 10-12. Thankfully, you level so fast that you’ll…
A fine from who? There’s no law against it. Like others have been saying, stores don’t do it because they risk not being able to sell anymore games from those companies or possibly a lawsuit. However, there’s no law against it (at least in the US), so there’s no fine.
I remember when the DS was announced and people were baffled by the possibility of two screens. I linked a picture of the dual-screen Game & Watch games like the one you linked as an example and it turned out I was pretty spot-on. So, it wouldn’t be the first time Nintendo has dug into their past devices to get an…
It’s got Super C (Contra II), at least.
The candy is specific to each pokemon type (a pokemon and all possible evolutions). So, the candies are as hard to find as the lowest evolution of that type of pokemon. For example, dratini candy is tough to come by. Pidgey candy is not.
As far as I know, the only difference in the distance of the eggs is the amount of candy they come with when they hatch. I don’t think it affects the rarity of the pokemon contained within, just a 10km will yield more candy than a 2km. So, a 10km magikarp will help you on your way to getting Gyrados faster.
There’s no requirement for a regular PS4 to have anything additional in order to run PSVR. As far as I know, NEO was just going to have things run smoother/better. If Sony came out and said “Oh and you need to buy this other device we didn’t mention, too!” months after opening up preorders for PSVR, it would be a PR…
The impetus is that social conservatives have had some big losses recently, particularly around gay marriage and they felt they had found a way stick it to those people who don’t fit with their views of traditional gender/sexuality. This seemed like a win-win to them, since they could rile up people by claiming they…
Nah, for the most part, stores will even have them after today (depending on the size of the store, as the tiny mom-and-pop comic shops aren’t going to have as much as the big ones). On occasion, there’s an issue that’s a little tricky to get, but it tends to be more fringe stuff that they didn’t expect many people to…
The Rift uses their store out of the box, but it works fine with Steam too. In fact, I had Steam open and when I finished my Rift setup, a little popup came from Steam saying “It looks like you’ve got a VR headset.” and walked me through the Steam VR setup. So, it easily works with both. Also, if you look at the list…
I don’t think it’s “astronomically” expensive for what it is. You’re getting two high resolution screens with higher pixel densities than an iPhone 6s screen and super fast response time, accurate movement tracking, advanced optics, and a bunch of other stuff for around the retail cost of a smart phone. It seems…
The Rift already tracks fairly well with a single sensor (I got a CV1 a few days ago, so I’ve had some first-hand experience with it). My limit has been more of the length of the cables to my PC than going out of sensor range. This video is with the Touch, which includes a second sensor (you can see both in the video)…
“I do not play by your limited knowledge objective rules, my rules extend far into adulthood and fatherhood and the last thing I want to do is end up in another argument with a teen or young adult who has no plans of being a father/mother.”
What are you talking about? If a game is rated 13 and up it doesn’t mean it’s aimed at 13-year olds. It means the content is unsuitable for children under 13. Do you think adults don’t play games for all ages? I’m in my 30s and I think my wife and I probably spend more time playing games rated for all ages like Mario…
I’m one of the people who ordered within the first minute or so preorders were up. I was quoted a March delivery date. It’s April 1st and my card still hasn’t been charged. I don’t mind a wait, but when you tell people something is launching on Monday and people who ordered within the first couple of minutes still…
Not with that attitude.
