SWTOR did innovate some, though. It brought a strong storyline and full voice acting into the MMO world, something that hadn't really been done previously. Where my character is normally a silent adventurer, with no personality beyond what I personally roleplay (if I roleplay) in SWTOR, he has a voice and a

Oh, you thought I meant 32X cart, no I meant 32X CD, as in you needed a 32X and a Sega CD. There were some arguably good games for the 32X. 32X CD... you can't even pretend.

Is Heart of the Alien on any other system? Also, don't forget Robo Aleste and Final Fight CD. And I liked Silpheed, although it doesn't seem to ever get any recognition. But you are correct that you have to start really searching to fill out a list of 15.

I can't understand the comments of people not understanding the draw of the Steam Summer sale. It's pretty easy to see why people jump to buy a game like Dishonored, a game which won numerous awards and was released less than a year ago for $60, when it's on sale for $10.

It's good for people wanting another PS3. Mine got the YLOD last fall, and while I did get it repaired and it's been fine since, I feel like its days are numbered, so I'm picking this up to have a more reliable device to play my PS3 games on, and that's not the mention the nice fat hard drive for those PS+ games.

Just poor timing, probably. It happens, sadly. A few years ago, my best friend from childhood died in a car wreck. Maybe an hour before, annoyed at general day-to-day things, he'd posted simply "FML" on his Facebook page. I'd known the guy since kindergarten (20+ years) and that's the last thing I heard from him...

I dunno, in Animal Crossing New Leaf, they let me crossdress and my male character even swings his arms like a female character when wearing a fabulous new dress. I'd say they're pretty open-minded and forward-thinking.

That's probably because the eastern cougar technically went extinct in the 1930s and no one got around to actually saying "Yep, they're all gone." until 2011. http://www.fws.gov/northeast/ECou…

I saw a big plot hole early on when they were talking about how these aliens had engineered humans. And I thought, where does evolution fit into this? And like clockwork, some guy they're explaining this to pipes up and goes "Yeah, that makes sense if you just discount 300 years of Darwinism." and I thought "Ah-ha,

What an awful excuse. It would be like reporting on a murder and being confused and saying "I've never been murdered, I'm sorry." Is it too much to ask to look into a story you're going to be reporting on TV for like five minutes before you go on? In what other job is acceptable to be so clueless and unprepared?

Yeah... they might have the crappy version no one wants for $399, but then they'll have the much better deal version for $100 more...

As a an owner of the PC version, I can honestly say: You're not missing much. The game looks beautiful, I'll give it that, the graphics are outstanding, no matter how far you zoom in or out. My praises pretty much stop there, though. Beyond the server issues that have been so highly publicized, the game is loaded with

There, there, Fairchild Chanel F II (1979), I still remember you.

The "people won't understand that Xbox 2 is on the level of PS3" thing has always seemed silly to me. How dumb do they think their audience is that they can't understand that the numbers aren't the same across platforms? It sure makes a hell of a lot more sense than any other scheme other than calling it something

Actually, (Red) Hulk turned into a good comic once Jeph Loeb left and was replaced with Jeff Parker. But Jeff Parker is the kind of guy who could take the lamest character possible and write an amazing story with them.

The complaint wasn't that they don't deserve to be compensated, just that it's not "theft", it's "copying". It's a different issue and much more complicated and morally-ambiguous issue. Calling it "theft" seems to indicate that copyright infringement is cut and dry wrong in all cases, like theft. But it isn't, and we

I bought it, played for about 15 hours, then I started running into bugs and other annoyances. I just sort of quit after that and marked it off as a loss. Not only has it made me vow to never buy a game with such absurd online-only requirements, it's actually turned me off from buying new games all together. I'll just

Too bad they can't give it a single damn sequel, yet they can churn out plenty for Metal Gear.

I used to get tons when I was in college and would have my 3DS in my bag during the day. It was interesting how I'd get the same people in the same places, because of the repeating schedules. Since I've graduated, I haven't gotten as many, but the strangest one was when I was driving several hours to my parents'

Thank you. I hate when people refer to that other flag as the "Confederate Flag" and claim it as their "heritage". As a life-long southerner, I find the other flag offensive due to its lack of connection to history and obvious connection to racism. If you're truly flying it for heritage, you have three perfectly good
