Ford imports all Transit Connects to the US from Turkey (I think). To get around the Chicken Tax all of them come into the country with the rear seats, which are then removed here for vehicles that will be sold as service vans.

My guess on this is while the roof line is the new model, all the lower body panels are grafts of the current beetle, and will probably be changed for the next one.
While this joke is getting a tad boring - I do see it as a good opportunity for the Jalop offices to take a Friday off, do basically no work, and have content for the day!
While this still isn't a very "Fun" sports model, it did come with a 3.5L Honda V6 and was generally improved over its standard version.
My Mom's Grand Caravan Sport had a spoiler, nice aluminum wheels, and the 3.8L V6 - it was the fastest vehicle my family owned and would roast the front tires...
Chill dude - just thought it was funny that every other vehicle in the pictures is a Ford truck
No no sir - that's "Canada, eh?"
Yes, but taking into account all the little specifically engineered bits is never part of the equation when you add up how much cheaper you can make that much HP...
They made toys from Inspector Gadget?!?! I need these! Now!
I've seen some really nice Red overlays for them - Thinking I may go that route...
ahhh yes! Dajiban! I love this Van!
Looks like a Carrera Panamericana car...
Not that I think Ford should really care about this, but from what I've learned of trademark law, you pretty much have to defend your right to something in any/all cases or grant them specific dispensation. Allowing someone to use the trademark with out some special exemption makes it harder to go after other people…
I think Owen (if i remember right) and I are hoping for this one...
@Justin Hyde: Ahhhh! This key detail is left out of the article, and shows that they did filter their work down to "calling while driving" people. The way you presented it makes it seem like they didn't really correlate driving callers and crash rates.
