@Mike the Dog: I think the "Not a Replica" means that the wide body kit is from a reputable aftermarket company (like say Velside etc) instead of an E-bay special kit (which are notorious for not fitting and being crap)

@Van Sarockin, rogue trebuchet: The engine is NOT connected to the wheels in any way - Its just a big generator sitting in the car. Yes, after the battery goes down the engine is working, and will therefore reduce fuel economy, but not in the sense of a traditional hybrid.

This is not - its two different ways of adding up the data to see what car is actually selling the most with the program. Apparently the NHTSA counts every engine variant of a car as a different model.
