Its an administrative hearing that gets someone kicked out of school and has huge ramifications on someone’s life. Its basically a civil proceeding. If you are going to accuse someone of a felony act, which is what is occuring here, then there has to be far more transparency on how you determine if the person was

Whether or not there are low percentages of false rape claims has nothing to do with the fact that male students are no longer getting due process. Saying that is a false concern because the main people who raise it are the idiotic MRA groups is like pretending politicans aren’t bought and paid for because its

The underlying problem is private universities have a “justice” system that keeps everything quiet so that there are not articles. They often ban those charged from having basic representation. They represent a world that is much closer to a North Korean or Chinese court than anything resembling the US. The fact that

This woman sounds awesome, and I'm generally a fan of sports unions. That said its hard to feel bad for either side when they get in a fight. Its like the .00001% vs the .001%. Its hard to relate to either group compared to the real world.

Yah, it would be nice if mental illness was appropriate handled here in the US. We stigmatize it was too much and make it hard to get treatment.

Every state has elected some people that are shamefull. Kennedy killed his mistress, Byrd was former KKK member, Minnesota elected a WWE athlete and a SNL actor who couldn't make it in Hollywood.

If Israel wanted to kill everyone in Gaza it would have already happened. its a horrible comparison.

If you refuse to accept that college sports are not one part business and one part amateur athletics then its going to be hard to honestly discuss this situation. I never said women's sports shouldn't exist, merely that they logically wouldn't exist in their current form without the bankroll from Major Mens sports

Now playing

Israel takes more care in its air striks than any other modern nation, including the US. Casualities are bound to happen though and its unfortunate when it does. But Israel has to protect its people more than anything else.

Without college football and basketball there would be virtually no women's sports. Where do you think they get all the money for the nice gyms, cross country travel and other necessities in todays world of massive conferences.

Except the mens sports pay for all the women's sports. Revenue creating sports pay for almost all the budget through general donations to the athletic funds required to get tickets. Women's sports lose tons of money and generate virtually nothing in TV revenues, attendance or donations.

With the concern of being associated with the mens rights group, there is a serious problem with mens non-revenue sports getting cancelled because of TitleIX. Its also severely restricted the growth of the sport at the college level.

And there in lies the question. The PA for all its faults (which are many) are partners Israel can at least talk with and they are in leadership. However Hamas can't be and unlike the Tea Party, they can't be easily removed or dismissed. Part of me thinks just let Egypt go in there and wipe them out and restore

How many security council resolutions have been passed against Syria? in one situation 125 people have died, the other has taken the lives of over 150K by some estimates. Lets be honest these two crisis are not even in the same universe.

Hamas needs to be removed as part of the government. Their election is not much more valid than Assads. However Hamas would rather use its people as human shields than actually have them lead successful lives.

Actually its really boasting about the success of the Iron Dome, a system that shoots down rockets heading to populated areas. That is something worthy of cheering. The idea that Israelis should die so that people with no (to little ) understanding of the issue feel its more fair is pretty idiotic.

I am sure Omri ripped him a new one.

He used the argument that the number of deaths that occurred were the real issue without even mentioning the underlying cause. His own teammate then called him out on trying to drop one of the worlds most complicated problems into 140 characters. His teammate also happens to be the only Israeli in the NBA (assuming

Didn't know the context of Puto and also didn't have the other posts when I put in my first one. That said, thanks for the details.

Except its not irresponsible or misleading at all. Soccerhas the most blatantly racist fans in the world and its not close. It may be a beautiful game on the pitch, but its "supporter clubs" are often racist to a degree the US can't even imagine. Lazio has basically a cheering section for nazi supporters AT THEIR
