Taking this one step further, I got my iPad over 14, but under 30 days. I also got a case. I'm not sure its worth the upgrade cause I would be stuck with a worthless case I can't return. At 40 dollars for the case (or possibly more for a new case which won't be discounted) its still not worth the upgrade.

I had to laugh at the 64GB iPad Mini costing over 500. Why not just buy a iPad at that point (or get a 7 with removable media).

I fail to see why this makes my iPad three obsolete. It basically has almost all the exact same functions. Every time intel comes out with a slightly faster chipset, does that make all the other previous computers worthless?

I got an iPad in September. While this is annoying, it certainly doesn't make my iPad obsolete. It has virtually no new functions, other than a faster processor (which often leads to decreased battery life). Basically its an odd move, but it doesn't really affect the iPad 3. Its really more like they have two version

There is a reason for this. In todays overload sports gives us a welcome reprieve from every other moment on TV being about the election. Just like CNN and other news people generally look stupid when they try to do sports, sports people look stupid when they try to do politics. There are plenty of places to find

Pretty much anything involving hacking- ever.

Kaspersky does a great job finding threats from US, which will virtually never hit the readers of this blog. However I highly doubt they will find the real threats like those launched from Russia friendly countries like Iran (see the cyber attacks in the Sunni Middle East this week), which are more likely to also

GMs no longer get to treat pitchers like a disposable asset, so they are pissed off. They will have a job regardless of what happen to 37 in the future. The media wants stories that will get page views now, not in the future. Its indifferent to them who the best pitcher in the game is, so they don't really lose

The problem isn't this year. Its been show that when people are overworked the previous year, their shoulders are more likely to develop major problems the next year. These injuries have been extremely damaging and often career ending (see K Wood, M Prior). The Nats are doing everything they can to limit these

I don't think even the illustrious Drew Magary knows enough curse words to describe the curse words I feel whenever I see Arroyo's ad for Red Hooded Sweatshirt.

I never said only Obama used bad facts, (although lies is a loaded word that isn't really accurate). Both sides loved throwing out numbers that are not really used.

And further down the rabbit whole you go. If you really think only one side used fuzzy math, then you really should read the Washington Post fact checker. Sounds like you are looking for an excuse.

Fall is for football not for hockey. December would be ok, but I would prefer the winter classic start the season.

I can deal with 50% of the teams if you don't have 82 freaking games. The MLB has approximately 1/3, which at least keeps the regular season meaningful.

I have season tickets to the caps. I have my 5 year anniversary tomorrow where the caps throw a party for us. It should be interesting since you know, the game after it was cancelled.

This is Gawker. For the most part actual analysis is completely ignored if it can back up preconceived notions about the GOP and Romney. The post Fact Checker decimated most of Obama's points (and pointed out Romney's mistakes but lesser so). If you want anything remotely objective, this isn't the place.

So you wouldn't ever wear a safety belt because there is a chance you could still get injured in a car crash anyways.

I don't know about Deadspin, but Gawker absolutely despises DC. Hamilton Nolan takes a shot at it any time he can to almost a pathetic level.
