I have it for my TouchPad.

They also announced a plan to bring angry birds to the BB somewhere in late 2013.

That is good in theory, except for one possible problem. I don't know how this would be set up. If its set up as basically read only, then great. However some of these drives that have the ghost partition can be written to on other PCs and Antivirus doesn't check the area. Its a great place to hide something bad.

Dead on. Ask anyone who has ever had to restore a machine without an optical drive when a main disk fails and has to be replaced.

The only time I am comfortable letting a woman pay on the first couple of dates is if for some reason we have come to some understanding that we just aren't a romantic match AND she sincerely offers to pay. I have a number of gf who do the fake purse reach to see how long (or if they do) offer to pay for the whole

Anyone view the picture of Mr. Kim Kardashian? How on earth did this get approved for an NBA website.

Another possible problem, if anyone actually uploaded PII, they could end up violating PII government rules for its disposal and handling.

I agree with that. it just seemed like it was apple is soo much better because all I have to hit is one button instead of two. Maybe I'm just too snarky today.

OMG you have to click on a button, and then totally click on a second button. That makes the whole system complete worthless! Basically I am just sick of a lot of the, wow look what Siri can do, when it often doesn't do it that well and its not original.

Or you could just buy a droid and use google translate. Its been able to do this for years. Of course I realize a technology doesn't exist until it comes out on something with a lower case i, but this hardly groundbreaking stuff.

+1

~You would think a sports star who hates black people would fit in perfectly in Boston. ~

Google is also involved (albeit probably inadvertently) in the distribution of the blackhole toolkit if certain search words are used. After certain seraches the ads redirect users to malicious sites. Its been reduced in the last 6 months, but search engine poisoning used to happen relatively frequently.

+1 on the founders, that stuff is amazing. I hear the Bourbon Barrel version is even better.

My point (and albeit I could have been clearer) is that PIPA claims it wont touch anything as long as its not 100% illegal. I am calling BS on that statement. It defeats the point of the legislation.

This should show everyone how bullshit PIPA statements about only wanting to touch 100% bad sites are. It states that a site has to serve no legitimate purpose to be taken down. However this site clearly housed both illegal AND legal material.

Actually 300 is around what the Occupy movement is getting for its protests (recently) in DC. This movement would just be getting started if congress keeps up these shenanigans.

This may be the best post on the aftermath I have seen yet (i've been trying to follow the political fallout from this on Politico and the Washington Post) . Us IT people have our own faults, and as we all know, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. If there is one thing Google et al have, its cash.

Actually its really the other way around. Congress, specifically your Representative almost always writes you back (even if its a crappy form letter) as long as your request their response to an issue. I think using their website is a little bit better.

I hate companies who abuse their power. For example lets say a company installed a rootkit along w its DRM software. The nerve of these companies never ceases to amaze me.
