@they call me ginger: Something this serious shouldn't be left up to a prosecutor's mood.

@MemilyBimble: We also live in a culture that loves to take the popular. Hell you probably think that the Duke Lax team committed rape. false accusations have a massive affect on someone too.
Its a shame Jezebel isn't able to have a serious discussion about how to handle rape allegations against someone with any semblance of celebrity. Its a tough discussion that needs to be had, but rushing to bash either side in this situation in a rush for page views is horrible.
Did Jezebel exist during the Duke Lax case? Lord knows what kind of a fool it would have made out of itself then.
@OnTheTwelfthNightOfLloydChrist...: I hear sleeping with random men to show you own your own sexual identity and are still a desirable person helps self esteem.
And I bet the ratings were far less than real housewives, or some horrible rerun of the WSOP. Even if they were not, they normally are abysmal. With a few acceptions (ie UConn) Women's sports don't draw in ratings or sell tickets. WNBA teams are going bankrupt like some bad bank, except that the NBA has decided this…
@Always Winning: I wonder what got better ratings? If people really cared about this, then UConn would be able to at least match the Bowl game. Its not fair for women to complain about not getting the spotlight when they won't tune in themselves.
@slick171: You get what you earn. I have a much longer discription of why womens sports doesn't belong on the front page of a sports section on a daily basis and its not womens sports are boring. Its that the interest level isn't there. Women can be just as big a market as men. You are half the population. If you…
I have a hard time taking complaints that no one cares about womens sports seriously. The main reason is there is very little support for the sports, outside of a few rare acceptions. Women get annoyed that they don't get the same attention as mens sports. The reason is no one watches or attends womens sports nearly…
His big mistake was not showing the girls in a powerpoint presentation. Then making disparaging comments about their physical appearance is completely acceptable.
Its horrible that a website would try to profit or get webhits by judging people based on their sexuality.
@katedaysaweek: Two things, the main site on ESPN is not really centered around men. Eric Karabell's fantasy advice works just as well for men as it does for women. Most of the stories have nothing to do with sex at all.
With all due respect to women's sports, a main reason they don't get the coverage is people just don't financially support them. Yes we all want a league we can point to show our daughters that they can play at a higher level, but the WNBA hemorrhages money. With a couple of rare exceptions womens college sports lose…
Gotta like Karen Owens in this. She always ends up on top.
@Diffident Dolly: The Christine ODonnell ladybug fiasco makes it hard to take anything this website says seriously about the Tea party in its ilk. Its just driving for page views and based on the response, its probably getting them.
This is too funny. Do you think there would be this much outrage if 4chan rigged a voting contest? I highly doubt this.
And so continued the curse of Le Bulle.
So in the rush to condemn all republicans as racist bigots, jezebel forgot to check the site of its big sister.
