As one of comments here states, 92% of the time people charge overnight home. Another % at work. So in reality, the "waiting" for it to charge is overblown.
Don't be so sure. Consider that gasoline is about $8/gallon, plus the cost of oil changes, and the fact that in some cities you have a congestion charge. Then the $14,000 Fiesta may not be the most cost-effective option.

In reality probably no. But if message boards are an indication, there are millions and millions of people who claim to drive 301 miles each day. Stating that EVs are a waste of time and that they will never buy one.

Also you have consider that Tech companies have huge profit margins >40% that affords them to pay big salaries, and to take chances. Auto manufacturers have very narrow margins.
