I have previously lived in OR and WA, where the pedestrian ruled. Sometimes to a point where “no you go, no please after you,...” would get annoying.

in 2.73 secs....in free fall.

Do you care that the car is faster, or do you want the numbers to be bigger to impress your Camry-owning neighbor?

Yeah, who doesn’t. But I have the feeling that you have not compared the actual cost of leasing one vs. the other. There is a HUGE difference.

Toyota did it. The Prius was not profitable when they came out, but based on volume and economies of scale, they ended up making a profit on each car after a while. It is the long term vision that GM lacks.

California $7K for a Tesla? I don’t think you know what are you talking about.

Yes they do. And unless you are new to this site, you’ll realize I’m not alone on this.

Yeah, but "bad judgment riders do not all live in bad judgment city". They ride among us. If Mr. Bad judgment gets a 200 HP bike, he has higher cha ce of getting over his head, and cause a bad accident for everyone around him.

Until inexperienced driver crashes killing himself, plus a few others on the wreck. Then police and insurance companies decide to “think about the children!!!” And regulate power way beyond what sensible common sense would dictate.

So many comments here proved you wrong, yet you double down.

Yep, that’s LA for you. Even in places far away from Hollywood, you can find yourself in the middle of a movie at any given time.

Unfortunately they will not head for the heavily guarded mansions. They will be re-directed by propaganda against minorities and other scapegoats.

That is not true. As the article state, there are other states with the same laws, and still have access to the TTP (Trusted Traveler Program) you do need access to the DMV to get on the TSA precheck line.

So...blame the guys that wanted a house. God forbid that you trust the “experts” that tell you that you can afford the house.

How many teams does Lance Stroll need?

Not only that. These investors will squeeze every penny out of the car manufacturers before they go broke. Then only the working stiff with a 401K will own stocks on those dying companies.

This makes no sense. It is not as if is a governmeent program, or a single owner. Each gas station operator can do it on his own dime. just like everywhere else.

I think you are fighting an unwinable battle. These guys already made up their mind that SUV’s are better than wagons, and they will do mental gymnastics to validate their point. Their purchase was based on feelings, and you are presenting facts to them.

Sales numbers don’t lie?

This logic makes absolutely no sense.
