I like nice clean lines, but the currently generation of BMW look like the German version of Pontiac. The multiple vents on top of vents, grilles with 25 different lines look cheap.

I would not be surprised if this was their own making. I can see a time where American manufacturers lobbied for different standards to keep foreign manufacturers out.

As far as I know, the cars were abused quite a bit. The older cars were used for long shots and stunts, whereas the newer cars were used for closeups.

Actually, throughout the life of the show, they used a 79, 81 and 83. You can spot the small differences from season to season.

Way to assume incirretly right there buddy. I work for one of the largest construction companies in the world. You do not get there by loosing money. Also large part of our clients are government agencies. So yes, i have seen the waste there.
