Yeah, quite the underdog story (at the time). Ford the 2nd largest car company in the world went after Ferrari, a company producing about 100 cars a year.

I remember some metal detectors in some airports back in the day. Some had them right at the gates. Not sure if they were installed right after those hijackings, or when were they installed.
