Let correct you. GM thinks that EVERYBODY is stupid.
Why do BMW owners ALWAYS have to tell everybody that they have a BMW?
I totally get the idea behind incentives. I just find dishonest to sell $24k worth of car for $34k banking in the incentives. The model III is going to cost about the same, but it will have much more of a luxury feel, not a cheap compact.
Correct. So it is a $24K, that GM tacks on ~$9K, so that we the citizens can make it affordable. What is going to happen the day they exceed the 200K limit?
One of my best friends has a 2013. I like it, and I even considered buying one. However, neither the Gen I or the new one are worth $34-38K. The technology may be great, but even the fully loaded model is equivalent to a $24,000 Cruze. The interior door panels are all hard plastic with some soft padding for the…
Here we go again. We get it, you do not like Obama, fine. But don’t get your facts wrong. The bailout was designed in the Bush administration, and ended up being managed by Obama.
but governments big or small don’t like competition
You have ti read previous articles. Because the backing from the cab companies, was insignificant compared with the money Uber and Lyft spend on the other side.
So being poor is not compelling enough to get a job?

I’m with you. I guess a lot of people fail at math.
It is not the taxi companies fault necessarily. Uber IS unfair, we all know that but look the other way because they are “more convenient”.
Max Chillton kept cutting turn 8 (?) gaining advantage every time. All he got was a warning too.
Are we absolutely sure that Pagenaud was the ONLY driver that cut the blend line during the race? Probably not.
I used to work for an engineering firm, and we had several types of airflow measuring equipment. These two guys with too much time on their hands measured 90 feet per minute at 1" off the butt.
I would guess Dodge/Chrysler won’t offer these cars for lease.
Don’t get me started with Uber. I work downtown LA, and all the street parking (with park-meters) is taken by Uber drives waiting to get hailed. Meanwhile the city is getting no money after installing card-enabled meters, and regular citizens just cannot find parking.
Man.. did you read the article and my comment?
I guess it all depends on the price. If the GT-R and the Alpine cost the same, I see no reason for the Alpine to exist since I can’t see many Americans buying a Renault for that much money.
