Maybe Lord March is less paranoid than some Americans that believe they need a gun just in case all the time.

I read somewhere that the issue was not necesarily Tom Selleck size, but they wanted the car open for helicopter shots.

Correct, but you have to remember that the price we pay for cars has very little* to do with the cost associated to manufacture the car and everything to do with the price we are willing to pay for it. Call it perceived value. The Model S is similar size to a 7 series or an MB S class with similar performance, so the

Lots of methane out of the tail pipe if not tuned properly.

The voice commands function is WAY better than anything out there.

I think the issue is not the range at all. But the $30,000 AFTER Rebates part. That means that GM believes that you should pay ~$40,000 for a compact car that if powered by an ICE would be no more than ~$20,000

This system at least has the decency to let you know that you are in the Northern hemisphere. My Audi S3, just tells me to go and sit in the corner and think what I have done. Then I remember that the MMI system does not make the car any faster, and that I got the 19” wheels package instead.

Wow, you own am 80’s BMW, you must be really special. I now understand your post.

Amazing, they got an Aztek in its natural state...on a spare tire!!

Really? I have yet to go to San Diego and not spend long hours sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Any day, any hour. You my be flying for a while. but sure enough you are going to get stock in a traffic jam for no reason. If SD is here, then LA deserves to be here too. I can understand the traffic in LA, after all

Women have been racing for a long, long time. I would venture to say that for at least 100 years there have been women in racing, and yet no clear wave of new women racers follow the footsteps of the ones who came before them. One female racer each decade a trend does not make.

I do not feel this is going to really be a big hit. It may be fun for some techie-type people, but not really a main stream sport.

Yes, but we are assuming that anybody buying a CLA/GLA does so by stretching their thin budget just to show their friends that they have a MB.

Let me start by saying that i do NOT own one and they do feel pretty cheap inside for the price.

I have a classic car, and yes, Internet and message boards have made it a lot easier and cheaper to find parts. But there are some parts that you can only find at specialized shops or at the dealer and they can be pretty expensive.

Sure, because Maserati parts are super cheap and available at your local Autozone, right?
