Where does the $18 billion figure comes from? I have seen $37,000 X ~500K cars. But where does the $37,000 comes from. The average VW is NOT $37K. Does anybody know? Or we are just repeating numbers that somebody may had said?

In test mode the emissions control system is fully operational, correct? In theory this diminishes the performance of the engine. Has anybody ever dynoed one of these cars? I’m thinking the numbers would be much lower than manufacturer’s specs. Did anybody ever observed that?

Yes, handling is definitely great, we also drove the ATS, and even the base model handled great.
