Has a first lady ever done less? How’d that anti-online bullying campaign go? Did she fix it? She must’ve because I haven’t heard her say anything about it in months.

I mean, it does kind of speak of priorities considering the story was a tremendous clusterfuck.

President Trump after your recently reported comments on Africa, are you concerned that the Black Panther movement is gaining traction in Wakanda?

That’s too bad. Honestly, I’d argue it’s way more accessible than a LOT of other Asian cuisine, since it’s emphasis on meat and sweet/spicy combos make it similar to some styles of BBQ. If you change your mind, get bulgogi; calling it akin to teriyaki does both a disservice.

Watched my mother die. Brain cancer. She was at home surrounded by loved ones. In the end, her chest heaved once, and with a long exhale she expired. My father passed a few years after, and when I saw his body at the funeral I had the distinct feeling I was staring into a hole. You would think it would be like seeing

The worst for me is the puff of air. I’ve gone to the eye doctor numerous times and I’ve dealt with contacts for years but that puff ALWAYS scares the shit out of me. I’m already tense from everything else and then that innocuous little *puff* happens and I feel like I’m about to get knocked out of my chair. The

One of the most memorable things about dead bodies are the eyes. I unfortunately saw quite a few bodies during the war in Iraq and had the unenviable experience of being there for several people as they died. There’s a shocking moment where life exits and the eyes telegraph it. There’s constant, almost invisible

I played a dead body in a short a few years back. I had been dead for several weeks, so I was pretty gross. After the shoot, my ex-wife and I stopped at a take-n-bake pizza place. I stayed in the car, slumped and motionless while they made the pizza, staring out the window at me.

We can have nothing.

I’ve played a dead body (zombie and regular person) as a background extra, though not in a close-up morgue-type scene. I had a shockingly hard time not breathing during the takes. It was one of those things where I can hold my breath just fine normally, but as soon as I had to for a scene, I suddenly felt like I HAD

My dad gave me my first credit card when I was 16. He said to me, “You treat this like cash. If you don’t have the money in your bank account to cover a charge to the credit card, you don’t buy it. If you do, there will be hell to pay (it was his card, making me an authorized user, so he was actually on the hook).”

I love the “How I work series” but my ultimate take away from this is “IBM employee uses Macbook” I’m a fan of what works but I find this a fun observation

One of the wealthiest, most successful people in the world and doctors STILL don’t take her seriously about her own body. But sure, black maternal mortality is just a factor of “access” and “education. Ok.

Maybe it’s because I’m getting old, but is Snapchat really that useful for anything other than sending nudes?

I’ve seen White people call their own children “monkey” and it makes me super uncomfortable. That whole “let’s pretend we don’t know the international history of colonialism, enslavement, genocide and oppression” shit from White people needs to stop.

Putting them on the defensive also slows down their legislative agenda. It is still a long time till November and we need to stop them from causing further damage.

I actually switched from Chrome to Firefox on my work computer around a year ago because Chrome was slowing down on me. However, there are times when a website or page or form just will not work on Firefox, so Chrome has to come to the rescue. I’ve never had (or been able) to do the same thing in the other direction.

What they really should do is take a page from Starbucks and get rid of the styrofoam cups.

UGH this is maybe the best Lifehacker article published in a long time.

Some great info in this article! However, I personally like to change up my style by getting a few new items every year. So I'm not exactly interested in making my clothing last 15+ years...
