In the past year I became a freelance blogger and bought a new laptop for the gig.Can I write off my entire laptop or just a portion of it?

The Teriyaki chicken sandwich at Wendy’s in Tokyo was my go-to fast food when I wanted something familiar back when I studied abroad. Always washed it down with melon Fanta, which I have yet to see in any other country so far.

The post-grad school trip is beast. I wish I did that. Some friends of mine went to live in Brazil for a few months after finishing law school and they said it was the best experience before starting work. Wish I did something like that.

I’d tell my younger self to pay for everything else before you start spending for yourself. Also, only use one credit card and don’t think about the others. It’s such an easy rule but it took me years to figure it out and actually adhere to it. All those times you had to tell your friends you couldn’t go to a concert…

Similar boat. I grew up seeing Dominos in my household (southwest) but all my friends that grew up in Ohio and PA swear by spades.

Agreed on scheduling alone time. I block off calendar time for two days a week where literally it’s on the plan to go straight home and I don’t let other people schedule over it unless it’s something I really want to do.
