If the car breaks down we're buggered!

He could think he's Titanius Anglesmith, Fancy Man of Cornwood. I'd take just plain ol' fancy if I were you.

[NACA] Ducts or GTFO

I say the cheapest car you can find that still has a warranty and decent gas mileage. Probably and Hyundai/Kia since they've got those nigh-eternal 10-year deals.

I see you're using Euros there. Buses over yonder are awesome. I lived in a small city/large town in Germany for a year and it was a pretty great way to get around, especially since students got to use most of the routes for free. In my largish American hometown, however, the bus system is atrocious. American

Sniper rifles? Are you kidding me? All you need to be armed with is a minikeg of Reissdorf and a decent camera and you're ready for the best 24-hour view of the Karussell ever.

I think what you're describing is the difference between a sleeper and a Q-car. A sleeper, in my book anyway, is a car that looks more or less stock but isn't; an otherwise stock GTI with 300hp is a sleeper. It was quick to begin with, yes, but without outward evidence of the performance increase it remains a sleeper.

Yuppers. Nearly bought some Festbier today, but then decided it wasn't nearly autumnal enough and got Torpedo instead.

Heart-click.

Chargers are FWD? News to me.

If that's not straight from Fallout, I don't know what is. There's totally room for a small reactor in the back.
