TBH, the fact that they made the female volcano so blatantly Asian with the “I lava-you!” song seemed questionable to me. All I could think about was the horrible racist trope of Asian women with “Me love you long time” or the like and it was just uncomfortable for me. I could be over-thinking it though.

I adored this movie. I saw it twice over the weekend.
