And now cable companies, movie theaters, and physical rental stores are telling us that the internet is the devil to try to keep people coming back to their service.

Cubicle farms have got to be the worst thing ever invented. I get easily 3x the work done while I am at home then when I am in the office because no one pops in just to see how my day is going.

I don't think that technology is the issue, I think that it is part of the problem, but the bigger issue is that you have a lot of very stressed out people forced to spend time and interact with one another causes them to loathe each other and generally act like dicks / children. You have people who have been forced

I don't know what it is, but the smell really doesn't bother me, and I think I am one of a few people who genuinely love the taste of Redbull (AKA Shocktarts of death).

I'll usually grab one on the way home from the bar, finish it by the time I get home, drink a glass of water with a couple advil, and then drink a redbull on the way to work the next day. Never had a hangover since highschool with this method, and damned if I am going to break that streak.

For those of us who have to piss in a cup once a quarter to keep our clearances / jobs / out of jail I think I'll pass.

The above is also an EMLS. The navy has been deploying them to their test bases before they start converting a carrier.

The F-35C is not capable of VTOL. Only the F-35B is.

Endspeed varies for each aircraft but usually between 130-150kts indicated.

My Morse is so rusty I don't know if I'm sending him the message or dimensions for the playmate of the year.

You would be surprised to find that many first year teachers make more then most pilots. The average for someone right out of flight school is going to be somewhere between $20-28,000 a year. As just about every airline will not take someone right out of school you are looking at a regional carrier or hauling freight.

Gonna have to agree. I got all the way through it, but it took some effort.

I'm willing to pay the extra taxes if it means that pilots get paid more. Seriously these guys do not get paid nearly enough for what they do.

Pssht, 110 proof still isn't sufficiently flammable. I'll take my everclear thanks

In the owner's manual under bulb replacement for the girlfriend's Mazda 6 it merely states "Bring your Mazda to the nearest Mazda certified maintenance center." After doing so and watching them do the replacement of the front headlamp bulb that needed changing, I am glad I just paid the $40 instead of trying to do

Crazy Stupid Love has Emma Stone in it, I is excused for his comments.

Actually, having owed one, and having multiple time shares (father was a CFI, so I have been flying since I could see over the panel) I can tell you that it really isn't that expensive. A PPL isn't that expensive, between instruction and aircraft rental you are looking at about $6,000 over usually 2 years. Hanger

There's 20 ducks out here AND THEY ALL WANT SUNCHIPS!

Leaked photos basically. If you ever work in a position where you work for R&D, anything to do with the government, or have highly sensitive material around you all the time, you will find that you are not allowed to have a phone that has a camera, or a memory card slot. There have been more then a few customer visits
