See I had the same idea. Its a good engine, with a real no shit manual, gets good milage, isn't a cop magnet, could easily be turboed, has four doors, and is cheap to insure. For someone who is going to take their brand new car, tear it apart, and put their own stuff in anyway this makes lots of sense. Just needs AC.
