I live in Kansas City, the test city for Google Fiber. I can't afford Fiber, but they already installed it in my apartment building so I get regular-speed Google internet for free B)
I pay $50 per month to get less than 1 Mbps. It's the only game in town other than satellite, which is more expensive, not much faster, and has ridiculous data caps for downloads. The only reason it's not $75/month is because I'm grandfathered in by a deal when I signed up. Most of my neighbors pay more.
