If you think about, many folks have probably paid over $100 for specific games if you factor in DLC (which companies plan even before a game gets released). For example, Smash Bros Ultimate was $60 new, and the season passes are $30 each. That’s $120 for the full game, and there’s always the possibility of a season 3

Better yet, don’t buy one at all. Build a PC with better specs for the same price or less, and play both Sony and Microsoft exclusives with better visuals on the same platform.

I recall reading an official Nintendo response to this question saying that there is no risk of overcharging when left plugged in for long periods of time.

Oh, I'm sure each of their lawyer teams are making out like bandits from this case.

Yup. Remember when Nintendo took down that fan remake of Metroid 2, and announced a legit version a few months later? Mario XXX would be the perfect title to announce for the 2020 holidays.

As a life long Playstation fan, I’ll be skipping out on PS5 entirely. Everything seems to wind up on PC sooner or later, so that has been my platform of choice over the past year. I can play games from multiple generations all in one place, backups are easy, and I can upgrade part or all or nothing to get my rig to

Everything finds its way to PC eventually, whether it's legal or not.

Yeah sounds like some kind of Microsoft related issue for Scott Pilgrim. Check it out and see if things got fixed by now if/when you ever bring your console out of storage one day.

Yeah, games released for free are hard to complain about, but paid games seem to be managed decently across all major platforms (so far). Also, I always make backups of all my digital games, so even if I accidentally delete something, recalling it won’t be an issue. That’s strange about Scott Pilgrim for XB1; I own it

To my knowledge, there has never been an instance where someone purchased a game, and then couldn’t play it because access was revoked.  There have been games pulled off electronic storefronts due to licensing issues, but owners of the license can still enjoy and download the game as much as they please.  And DRM is

They’re probably doing it as a way to save on color toner. That shit’s expensive.

Dirt and grime can be a partial explanation, but the main reason I keep seeing is the graphite used in the contacts to detect your inputs gradually gets worn down, moving against harder metal prongs inside the Joy-Con which further reduces response. Drift tends to be seen most in the left analog stick because it’s

“and without a modern way to enjoy the original" - Hasn't it continued to be available on PC all this time (on GOG)? Also, Playstation emulators have come quite a ways.

An easy test to see if your face mask is effective:  cup your hand, put it in front of your face, and exhale out your mouth and nose. If you feel air or warmth, something isn't right.

Any hope for a re-release of the Transformers games that came out between 2005-2015?  They've been pulled from all digital storefronts, including the dlc.

Then it sounds like Nintendo should find a way to link physical games. They allow you to collect My Nintendo coins for them; I’m surprised there can’t be some kind of registration process that could happen along side it.

Steam lets you buy dlc only for games you already own. I don’t see why Nintendo couldn’t implement something similar.

Yeah, even taking it apart and cleaning didn’t fix it permanently for me; the issue comes back a few weeks later. I had to replace the analog assembly for a full fix.

There are third party controllers and controller shells that can be bought on Amazon that include a full d-pad. However just know that if you buy the shell, it will require a few special tools, time, and patience.

You can get the same results with alcohol too, however the problem comes back after a few weeks of use. The best remedy is to replace the analog stick assembly.
