No game that 100% depends on an online connection is worth paying anything for. Once the connection goes, so does your game, and these kinds of phone apps don't get supported forever (see Miitomo as an example).

Except for Switch, I’m done with consoles after PS4. PC and all-digital for me after this. I understand some folks want simplicity when they game, but with complexities like DLC, no longer getting 100% of a full game on-disc, no hardware upgradability, limited physical storage options, limited/no backward

I took them up on their offer back then, and my save data STILL got wiped.  Now I have it on emulator, and can finally play the game with a smile.

“Stop it! That building is NOT a scratching post!”

Just get Kate Micucci to star in these kinds of films and call it a day.

It’s highly likely. Kojima put other brands like Apple and Sony into the Metal Gear Solid games.

Well, like baseball cards, it can be if you have them graded.

In an interesting bit of news (or I guess non-news now), Amazon suddenly restricted third party sellers from selling Nintendo products, but then nixed the policy. Maybe Nintendo inquired about this to dissuade piracy?

Holy shit, I didn’t even realize that until now.  What the hell is happening with Kinja lately??

Yeah, I basically got a PS4 because of Last Story, but I also got God of War and Spider-Man as well. I can wait just fine for Death Stranding with the backlog of games I have for PC and other consoles. Hopefully there will be a well timed Steam sale around the time I'm ready to buy.

Same. Honestly, I bought a PS4 Pro shortly after it came out and I’ve barely touched it. If a game is multi platform, I get it on Steam first or Switch second.

We had to wait over a year for RDR2, but holy smokes does it look gorgeous on PC. I’d definitely wait for the “superior version” of Death Stranding if it means similar enhancements.

He’s like a real life Sheldon Cooper, except not as smart.

Where was this woman when I was trying to find my way through Zelda and Metroid for the NES? This puts my crap maps to shame.

Nothing to see here. Just typical merchandise that could easily have “I love New York” or any other generic message on them. I’d love to see Club Nintendo level merchandise, like official Nintendo hanafuda cards, Game and Watch retro consoles, retro controllers compatible with Switch and PC, game soundtracks, statues,

Usually when I see the word “subscription” as a video game feature, I immediately pass. This announcement continues that trend.

You’re thinking too vertically. El Chapo’s guys were very creative at digging tunnels.

I find it fascinating that collections like this still hold value despite the existence of free (and superior) ways to play them on PC nowadays. I never have to worry about save files being deleted, or space to store all the bulky cartridges. I guess buying physical copies is purely for aesthetics and nostalgia.

The fact that they keep in touch at all doesn’t resonate well with me.. The Clintons have come to my area several times for “closed door meetings” with big corporations, and from what I’ve heard directly from the people that have attended them, it’s to make deals that benefit both parties (which makes sense).
