“Hey, hey, hey — don’t be mean. We don’t have to be mean. ‘Cause, remember: no matter where you go... there you are.” - Maya Angelou

I highly recommend grabbing this if you liked Battlefield 1942.

The game is rather fun and a lot more involved than you would think from first glance. The campaign is highly configurable so you can easily find the mix of “Carebear to Hardcore Hell” that you would like to have.

As you play in the campaign, your XP raises

I bought this yesterday on my brother’s suggestion and I’m really enjoying it.

We played Battlefield 1942 quite a lot when it first released and this game really feels a lot like that with the exception of the “isometricish” view.

Yes, I had to port forward port 1234 to play coop with my brother.

Well, Han didn't exactly shoot first. He just shot. Greedo never pulled the trigger in the original release.

Dammit! I fell for thread necro. I should pay more attention when Lifehacker recycles content.

Yeah, prior to that particular CPU, posting without a heatsink was not that risky.

I installed Bioshock and my otherwise completely overpowered video card would completely slow down FPS whenever water reflections were visible.

I restarted the game to apply new video setting... Game started, ten seconds later the FPS tanked again... Blue Screen of Death, computer rebooted.

Got a long stream of beeps

I feel that pain, man!

Back when AMD released the 1000Mhz (1Ghz) Thunderbird CPU I bought everything I needed to assemble that bad boy from a tech show.

Got it home and got everything socketed and ready to go except for the heatsink... I left it off on purpose to make sure I got the CPU seated and the jumpers for the

I'd say it's a byproduct of the narrow depth of field that the camera(s) were set up for. This tends to give scenes the tilt-shifted photography look.

It's a murder simulator! I can't tell you how many times I've murdered my brother by "accidently" mining sand or trying to start the fireplace (house).

On my iPhone 6 Plus there is an additional option under General —> Display & Brightness called "Display Zoom."

Toggling that feature from Standard to Zoom says it reboots the phone, but I think it just kills and relaunches "Springboard" or whatever it's called these days.

Leaving it set to Zoom seems to kill the

That's a pretty bold move...

I bought SotC on my PS3 because everyone said it was a great game...

I'm not challenging that statement, but I couldn't get into the game because I couldn't get a natural feeling from the controller scheme. I'm thinking playing the old-school game after playing more modern games ruined my experience.

If anyone has tips

So we can't have game with Buzz Aldrin, but it's OK to have one with Kim Kardashian?

Allright, I need those face sliders, pronto.

My personal variation on that one goes:

I must be getting old, because I'm seriously trying to figure who gives an actual fuck myself.

Why in the hell would I give a shit about a game someone else was playing? It's like being at your friend's house and he's playing Nintendo and won't give you a turn.
