That's cool. I'll just keep using my Eye-Fi card in direct mode to wirelessly synch my photos to my iPad while I'm in the field. I've already had my Eye-Fi for years. Didn't require a special purchase for me.

Eye-Fi's direct Mode will send it straight to the iPad by making an adhoc network.
