From everything I've read (and from personal contacts in China), Apple has done more to improve working conditions in suplier factories than any of the other major electornics manufacturers. I'm not saying they are perfect. What I'm saying is it's a load of crap to act like boycotting Apple is the solution to this…

Have you had anyone look at it? It sounds like your particular iPad might have issues if it's crashing every 5-10 minutes. I'm on a first gen iPad, and I haven't had the browser crash since iOS 4 (on gizmodo over and over and over again).

I don't think I've ever heard an iOS user complain about usability or the quality of the OS.

I'll boycot Apple when everyone else boycotts every other electronics company whom they can name off the top of their head. Especially since Apple has opened themselves up to inspection from outside organizations to promote accountability.
