I think plenty of people know what a real taco is, and few would struggle with categorizing Taco Bell as fake Mexican food. But if you really want to make a difference, tell south texans what the difference between a burrito and a taco is.

My thoughts as well.
That LaCie 2Big will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. Tons of extra storage for my MBP when I'm at my desk for video editing, and at speeds that don't get in the way of real time capturing.
Actually, most of "these guys" weren't involved during the iPhone 4 thing.
Exactly. This is what I want. I want my TV to have wireless surround support built in. Buy my speakers. Put them where they need to go in my living room, power the TV on and pair them. Then the TV does the balancing of the sound. THAT's a smart-TV.
As are Thomas the Tank Engine and Mickey Mouse Club House
Agreed, and in all honesty, when I browse Gawker sites in the blog view (which I prefer), the "sponsored" tag is so much smaller than he headline that I'd say it's just as deceptive.
The thing is, they sort of are maintaining two OSes at this point. As far as I can tell Metro has its own control panel, its own Internet Explorer, its own apps, and it's being suggested (though I'll admit I don't remember seeing hard evidence) that the traditional desktop and apps will not run on ARM based devices…
No. I'm saying buy the UI you want. Don't make Metro an add-on. Make it a self contained unit.
Giz is also the only site I've had crash any browser in years. Crashed Safari on my iPad several times a few days ago, and crashed desktop Safari as well (I run the web kit nightlies or I would probably just use Chrome).
I only have two problems with it. First, they need to drop the traditional desktop. Cut it alltogether. Make it a stand alone product that people who want it can buy. Second. Call that other product Windows 8, call this Metro. It isn't Windows anymore. Not in the way the metaphore is intended.
And really, if you wanted to shoot 3D with it, you could just put two side by side and you'd get everything you need to do 3D in post.
Pretty much.
Exactly. Thank you.
I don't think so. They had to learn it from The Loop.
I don't know that it's all that unusual for cook to take a $377 million "package". Jobs salary was only a dollar, but he received lots of stock and private jets and such. I'd be more worried if he were taking lots of pay in years where Apple wasn't performing like a nitro boosted racer.
The thing with Ninjas is that, by the time you know they're there... It's too late.
Kept one for myself. I'm a huge nerd when it comes to watches, so I decided to use one with a watch band. Gave the other as a Christmas present to a much younger cousin.
Yeah, I was avoiding that word to also avoid the "fanboy" moniker.
I don't think the Kindle Fire has enough internal storage to effectively serve as a recording studio. Also, there are two reasons I think we see accessories for iOS devices and not as much for Android devices:
