It may seem like a ton of money for a mini car, but it is pretty inexpensive for an Aston Martin. Its probably the best car Aston Martin sells too.

Too true. They only ended up selling something like 60 F1s, so this car is bound to be more successful for them. I just don't find it aspirational or appealing. It is more interesting than the Bluto mobile SLR though.

I find it odd and not a little disappointing that the company that built the exceptional and driver oriented F1 turned around and built the ordinary and driver-aid riddled MP4-12C. Where the F1 was about purity of controls and an engine meant to be savored, the MP4-12C is only available with an automatic, a safety

That's a very nice bus, and it represents an interesting bit of automotive history, but how did so much dumb money survive the mortgage meltdown? Must have been crony 'capitalists' bidding on that thing.

The Renault Le Car's wheelbase varied by 1.2 inches from the left side to the right side.

This could be a reason that GM isn't selling them to the public. You can't make up a loss per unit with higher volume.

People staring at obstacles aren't watching out for pedestrians. Hopefully the ones they hit will be the loved ones of the traffic calmers.

Better living through MTV.

It's all relative.

I used to drive a silver 740i Sport just like that while visiting San Diego. It belonged to a friend of mine. He had to let it go as the warranty ran out at 100K miles, since the car was costing the warranty company scary amounts of money, seven thousand here, three thousand there. It adds up. Even with all the

Oh, it is a hybrid. I was wondering how BMW would achieve their mandatory 250 lb weight increase using only new turn signals and rearview mirrors.

You're right about one thing: he clearly doesn't deserve another Porsche. He clearly merits a car that won't self-destruct. Your favorite Porsche is a 996 with an automatic and a blown engine? Dream big!

As cops go, that guy was a prince.

@The Dewd: Cruise control and steering with your instep. I've probably said too much.

@stuntman_dan66: A college roommate had a 302 powered Thunderbird in 1991, and the paint was already gone. His car's V8 engine hadn't been upgraded, and it wasn't very powerful. It may well have been older than 1986 though, which I think heralded a big upgrade in power with the introduction of multi-point injection.

@welder_ed: I prefer the original version's styling too. For me, it is the difference between very attractive and rather repellant. I've never looked at any car and thought that it needed bigger overhangs.

For me it is a tie between the aluminum slant-6 with Hyper-Pack and the BMW M20.

That guy is really comfortable with understeer. I wonder if my FWD car is much more neutral, or if I'm just not trying hard enough. This makes me not want to bother going on my club drive tomorrow morning. Remember thou art mortal!

She a good friend of yours? You must be very proud.
