Keep the Hemi, kill the Pelosi.

@Slave2anMG: We've gotten so far from a nation of equals that there are people in their 20s who don't even miss it.

I think BangleMW drivers are asshats, but not for this. I'd park there while I went in to tell the store manager how he lost my business.

@Turkieshooter: They are obviously impaired. Why do they deserve tax subsidies?

@thisISaRant...: What does it mean when you own or have owned a number of the cars and they have conflicting stereotypes?

@CJinSD: And I don't mean by getting a tattoo.

@aurora40: And how does that differ from every other car made in the last 25 years? People who change the appearance of their cars would be better off changing themselves.

First I thought maybe the kid used a Citroen. Then I considered the mythical strength of the Downs Syndrome sufferer. This is the first I've heard of a Nintendo DS. I probably could have gone my whole life...

@johnnyichiban: I guess it depends on where you live. I don't think anyone even notices them here, unless they're teenage boys on vacation from podunk.

Has to be any recent vintage Porsche '911.' They're as common as hybrids here, and people still take the time to make jokes about the stereotypes every time one drives by, even people who drive CLS AMGs. Part of it may be because they've gotten so wide that their short drivers' heads look really tiny.

@gman1023: I guess it comes with living in San Diego. I ride my bike up Soledad Mountain a few times a week, passing a corner where wealthy people try to sell their 6 year old luxobarges when they find out that the trade in value is four figures. This would be the asking price for an S550 here, so I can't see paying

$20K ought to buy one with delivery miles. That is an insane amount for a W12 with 88,000 on the odometer. Nashville Motorsports is just a used car dealer. That means that this VW wasn't considered retail worthy at the dealer who took it as a trade, or it so bankrupted the original owner that they are no longer new

Race cars are about lap times. This is about effete posing. Why not have $500 racing for people with finite means who want to race, and some sort of art car competition for people who haven't come out to their dads? It would do away with travesties like the IOE going to a silhouette racer skinnned with a body donated

Ford Pinto, Ford Mustang II, and Ford Torino FTW

@Tagbert: What is it about people ending up with the government that they...

@MikeTheRipper12: I was just pointing out that it sounds more like a state law than a federal law. Otherwise, it would have to be a federal offense to bring fireworks into any of the nanny states. Maybe it is.

@MikeTheRipper12: Are there special federal laws that only apply to NY? Sounds odd. When I was a kid, I often spent the 4th at relatives in NYC. This was 30+ years ago, but somehow fireworks that verged on mortars always found there way in. They blew up an ice cream truck once. There were cherry bombs, T-N-T

@tonyola: The Mitsubishi Debonair in the Jalopnik photo is a "1976 model that has undergone minor alterations."

The white car looks remarkably like a 1967 Plymouth Valiant. When was it introduced?
