Does South Africa still have a tire shortage as a result of their love of necklacing? What a great place.

@tonyola: What happened to cars like the CRX Si was that they became uninsurable by the young enthusiasts that bought them in their early years. The same thing happened to muscle cars at the end of the '60s. This is why expensive high performance cars tend to have a more resilient market than cheap ones.
@maximum-F450: So true. If it was just about money, they'd be truthful enough that more than 50 people would bother watching them.
@jodark: If Toyota makes their point with the great unwashed, the Obamunists will need a different scheme when it comes time to go after Honda and Nissan.
The key is an important atribute for the pride of their owners? Pathetic.
@Ash78, malcontent: I suppose he meant as opposed to having a British engine.
What do you enjoy about the euro Accord that the TSX lacks? Bringing this here probably isn't worth the effort. Car and Driver published two 'unintentional exotics.' They were the Jaguar X-type wagon and Lexus IS300 wagon, which combined for about 4,000 sales over several years. We don't all have small families, and…
@nerdtalker: Seems pretty odd. Consumer reports got 13 mpg overall with each brand's big diesels last year. In some cases, the latest increment of diesel emissions controls have come with a dear price to fuel economy, so it would be quite remarkable for this truck to achieve 20 mpg under any conditions at all.
@joeisuzu: Are you sure that isn't a Nissan Sentra SE-R wearing some 405 Pug trim? Another question would be where do you find someone willing to pau OVER $500 for a US Peugeot? If you see one that hasn't been recycled, feel free to offer the long suffering owner $500. You'll make their life.
Needs some fake wire wheel look hubcaps for the win. Maybe just two of them, one on the left front and one on the right rear.
I've drove a 246 GTS Dino in the late '80s. It was much as Sam describes, with performance that was merely lively even by the standards I'd developed driving a Porsche 924S and a BMW 325. The best thing about it other than the engine note was looking at it. I still consider it one of the two best looking mid-engined…
She could have stayed in the Bay Area and nobody would have ever noticed her. Pretty normal by Berkeley standards too.
In southern California, there are entire zipcodes full of kids who would be mortified receiving a Camaro instead of something German with at least 300 hp for their 16th birthday. It makes it hard to get worked up about this. At least he seems grateful.
The horizontal stripes REALLY make the car. I didn't like the looks at all, but somehow the stripes break up the mass and disguise the awkward proportions. It looks as good with the stripes as the Audi R8 looks ungainly.
@P161911 probably shoudn't have: What is the scam though? Who is going to bid thousands for dusty department store go-karts or rusted old wrecks with 25 word descriptions that include 'ran when parked 15 years ago?' VW kit car fans, apparently. Still, the rest of this looks like it was a waste of his time.
@buffcoat and beaver: Get a new driveway.
Take a look at his other items. He wants retail for old junk.
Kill it with fire. If organized chaos is the new flame surfacing, I hope the people who buy it all die of tetanus from wounds suffered washing their hideously stupid cars.
I'm guessing this car was commissioned by BMW to put the 550i Gran Turismo in perspective.
I guess I'm glad he didn't get run over. I guess.
