yup. And I also forgot to mention the grind. If you're using a spinny-blade type grinder, you're doomed from the start. Always use a conical burr grinder. always buy whole beans that have been roasted within the last 18 days, and roast them right before brewing.

Gonna have to disagree with you there. First of all, the ratios are very, very, very dependent on the brewing method itself. The ratios for an aeropress are different from that of a chemex, v60, siphon, or bialetti. And if you're going to say that it's for a machine, well, then I can guarantee you the "perfect" cup…

I use NFC everyday in NYC, and have been for some time now. Major banks and cards were inherently supporting NFC, either by having a chip in the card, or by you simply adding your credit card to google wallet. It really doesn't take much to support NFC from a Bank/credit card POV- they're just riding the apple…

Google+ keeps the location data.

The tongs in the picture have a switch to keep them closed. no need for the tube if you have that.
