Do you KNOW who she IS?????

Whatever Mel Rodriguez’s price was before, it’s gotta be like 5 times that after this show

It’s not that strong an opinion, and I’m not declaring how it should be or trying to educate anyone. It was just something that I observed, BHWDIK?

Right, fiction is make-believe. That’s why the whole “awkward interview” thing isn’t funny if it’s fiction. But hey, that’s just my perception, people have tastes and preferences, etc., no need to get all worked up about it. If you think a fictional “awkward interview” of a real-life (i.e., not a fictional character)

I don’t *need* anything. And yes, I don’t get it.

But that’s what I’m saying - there’s nothing great about the bit that I can see. It’s all scripted, the guest isn’t really uncomfortable, they’re just acting.

That’s not what I said at all. The humor in “Between Two Ferns” derives, it seems, from the notion that ZG’s questions are insulting to the guest. I’m just saying that would be funny if it weren’t fake, i.e., the guest is a celebrity who is used to people praising and fawning over him or her, so seeing him or her

Maybe?  Never heard of him but I’ll look him up

ZG is great - a terrific actor and his live show is amazing, I’m a huge fan. That said, I find “Between Two Ferns” to be terribly boring.

Country Mac was brilliant

I am neither a Peyton Manning fan nor detractor... but it’s weird how good of an actor he is

I mean, these kids are just having the time of their lives right now

“I’m looking forward to seeing... Zazie Beets... real... rack!!”  - Yummsh

when in doubt point your finger in the air and hop a couple of times

Great interview of William Zabka here, especially the Rodney Dangerfield stuff. Zabka seems like a real mensch, and he certainly has plenty of interesting stories to tell...

Is that the one where he goes “How dare YOU, sir!!”

I’m not saying the dozens of spoof movies that try unsuccessfully to be 1/100th as good as “Airplane!” aren’t terrible because they are, but I admit I did like the joke of Jaime Pressly saying “Oh, it’s already been broughten!”

They tried to get him but he was busy doing “Airplane!”

Robert Pattinson was terrific in “Good Time” but I’ve pretty much tuned out of superhero movies. With all the good TV out there, it seems like there’s hardly any point in keeping up with movies at all.

There is no such thing as a “lie detector” - use of polygraph as such is junk science, no more scientifically valid than palm-reading
