I think the Booktok aspect makes it problematic because they have fancast a character as a real person, and now they are harassing that real person who has nothing to do with these novels and just wants to play hockey without people yelling/messaging sexually graphic things at him, and I think he’s entitled to do that.

“Lewis apologized to Felicia, but also expressed confusion about where her frustrations are coming from months after Lewis first posted her TikToks about Wennberg.”

No. This isn’t confusing. Do not sexually harass people. Period. Even if their employer exploits their sexuality. Even if they dress in a provocative manner.  Even if they put their sexuality on display... etc. etc. etc.

I think it’s hilarious how desperate the author is to excuse what she admits is a double standard. Might as well have ended every sentence about women harassing men with 💅.

(which confuses me, personally, because NBA players exist)“

It’s not an unreasonable demand, and simultaneously, Lewis and other TikTokers’ confusion about what is and isn’t the right way to be a horny woman on the internet also seems fair.

Oh, okay.

Thank god!

Uh Russell Brand is an anti-woke Joe Rogan MAGA psycho.

Anyone who watched the documentary Hill made about his therapist and his relationship with his therapist could have clocked this. That documentary is a big mess of boundaries. His therapist and him tell each other they love each other. He invites a documentary crew he’s directing into his therapy sessions. He explores

I think what makes it manipulative is that he started a relationship with someone who was a professional surfer, who’s social media history and presence including oodles of this content that he wanted her to get rid of, and he appears to have not mentioned that beforehand only bringing up during the relationship. If

Boundaries are about your behavior and what you do, not about the other person. If you don’t want your girlfriend to have swimsuit photos online, you take the action to find a girlfriend who isn’t a professional surfer (or just one who doesn’t post swimsuit shots). Your boundary doesn’t proscribe your partner’s

Budweiser hanging her out to dry didn’t help their bottom line. It also gets to her point about abandoning a trans person being worse than not hiring one at all; that holds business-wise as well as morality-wise….if they’d stuck with her they *might* have had a chance of at least picking up some business from people

Not to give Mulvaney a hard time; I like her (as much as I can like anyone who calls herself an “influencer”, anyway). But expecting any corporation to behave morally and decently when it might impact profits is pretty risky, and expecting a public corporation to do so is utter fantasy. Boards of directors have only

They’re living up to their name.

I think it was on a John Oliver that one of the women that runs some of these Pregnancy enters wanted the mothers to be cut off after 7 months. like are you serious?

I’m glad she is suing. Crisis pregnancy centers should be shut down. They could use their funding to provide supplies to pregnant women who want to give birth but they barely do that and are proud of doing nothing useful. They will lie to women about how far along a pregnancy actually is in hopes of making sure that

I wish this faith based pregnancy centers would be shut down.

So many haters on that movie, for reasons I’ve never understood. I absolutely love it. Davis and Jackson are both great, plus you get Brian Cox in one of his best crotchety old bastard roles. Craig Bierko is also one sexy psychopath.

I would love a sequel to “The Long Kiss Goodnight” reuniting Jackson and Gina Davis, and with Brie Larson starring as Gina Davis’ now-adult daughter. It is never ever going to happen, but I want it all the same.
