New Orleans is pretty lawless right now. People are armed to the teeth because there’s an implicit knowledge no one will help you. The police don’t show up when you call and if they accidentally stumble across a crime, they don’t do shit. They blame the hiring freeze and the consent decree, but they were even worse

That’s not the point. He wouldn’t even be in the press for Jezebel to report on if he’d enacted his fetishes privately with informed, consenting partners instead of springing them on random unsuspecting IG models.

Who are you talking to? I’ve been happily married for a decade plus, so I’m not concerned what random men online think of my “attitude.”

I completely agree with your last point - class and the rising cost of living is a huge hidden factor in young people’s dating difficulties. And I’m sure it disproportionately impacts young men since there are still cultural expectations of them to prove themselves as “providers” before they are seen as acceptable

This is why it always cracks me up when manosphere guys try to use fear tactics on women, and tell us we’re useless without a man and need to lock one down quickly before we “hit the wall.” It’s such obvious fear-based projection. Finding a man is as easy as falling off a chair for most women. Men are the ones in

This is ridiculous. Ezra Miller needs to go to prison for their YEARS-long crime spree, and Warner Bros. needs to just release the film and let it flop like it was meant to. There is no retconning this situation.

Neither of them seem like great parents, especially airing all of this in public knowing how aggressive Britney’s fanbase can be. If Kevin has problems with Britney’s parenting style or their custodial arrangement, that needs to be addressed privately in family court to protect the children.

The call about whiny, triggered snowflakes has ALWAYS been coming from inside the house with that crowd.

He filed the suit pro se and the writing appears to be a non-legalese personal rant, which would make me guess his brother either doesn’t know about the lawsuit or doesn’t support it.

Ok then I’m going over to yell at the other person who commented because come onnn...we do not need crap like this being visible.

Ok but listing black women as your fans, employees and (checks notes) ex-wife doesn’t really illustrate your “love” for black women the way you think it does, sir.

I see the Johnny Depp strategy is in full effect. Kind of mad at myself for once being a fan of this guy.

You pulled this out of the grays just to say that?

I don’t know, there are plenty of people making that salary (or less) who aren’t committing felonies. This almost sounds like saying highly paid people automatically commit fewer crimes, which I don’t think is true. Teachers, grocery store workers, factory workers etc. aren’t doing any better and we’re not hearing

Maybe this is a dark thought, but my first thought was hoping none of the women prisoners would need abortions. It’s just another shitty layer to consider in these situations now.

“some exceptions” is doing a lot of work here

People liked GoT because it was a high-concept, expensive cable show with an A-list cast based on a wildly popular book series. I don’t think the violence specifically was the “golden goose” there. If anything I saw a lot more complaints about the excessive brutality given the show’s massive mainstream popularity

Who is the target demographic though? GoT seemed to get a very wide viewership, and all I ever heard were people complaining about all the rape scenes to the point where the writers publicly promised to tone it down after S4.

You can’t ignore the violence that was perpetrated on women by men in that time. It shouldn’t be downplayed and it shouldn’t be glorified.

Yes I also had a great OB/GYN at Ochsner, but sadly she’s moved on. There are too many questions at this point to put myself at risk, especially since I have a living child already who needs me.
