That’s a good question. I liked the emphasis on characters over CGI whirlwinds of action, so when the characters actual did something intense with their powers it was a release instead of just another box being ticked. Like when Magneto crushes the train, it had weight and it felt like it fit the character.

Apocalypse was a chore, imho. That and Last Stand def sit at the bottom.

Even more terrifying, I just read that Dorian = an EF4, 30 seconds of one of those is too much, 36 hours...fuuuuuuuuu...

I love love loved this movie, and little things like this were the reason why. Yeah I know it’s trendy to smash on it , but it was exactly the x-men movie I wanted to see. I do wish they could have gone full space opera for it and I think that was a missed opportunity. But in the end it’s probably my 2nd favorite

Pedantic Man sez: A Cat 5 is basically an F-3 tornado about 20 miles wide. The high winds are very concentrated.

ruining his Golf? really?

Well damn I wish I could be there for your debut, I hope you absolutely kill it and you have a whole audience of easily amused stoners there for it!

You’re not wrong, but you probably also want me to be high :)

There, fixed it for you

I legit LOL’d.

They look the same, but they only taste similar at best. Like, I like ‘em, but it’s like a statue of Jesus in church compared to the Second Coming.

Needs those siamese cats are I’m staying home.

That’s what I’m saying’, we have to, it’s not just ideological like I don’t want a second term for a president whose policies I disagree with—we can’t take much more of this before Scotty pops up and says “She canna take much more c’ptain she’s gonna break apart!”.

Re: Spiderman. I’ve said it before, this is easy. Peter Parker died in Spiderverse, was replaced by Miles Morales. Done and done.

I literally cannot imagine what 5 1/2 more years would be like. Aside from my thoughts on his policies, just the whirlwind, I’m exhausted. And I know that’s what he wants so I can’t rest. 5 1/2 more years...it’s too much

Lots of people complained about the first one not being scary. I loved it, so I’m gonna ignore all this and see it anyway.

This is easy: Peter Parker died in Into the Spiderverse. Miles Morales is Spiderman now.

How did we miss this upon first viewing?

Must be a Hattori Hanzo sword
