Criticizing pop culture vs. blaming it for society’s woes are two different things. For instance, blaming a cop TV show for enabling bad cop behavior is not a far argument from blaming violent video games for violence in society.

One of my best friends was an ER doc for 27 years, and all I would say to add to your apt description is that you left off the people with “pain” looking for some “pain meds” to make it “go away.” Also, endless administrative paperwork.
If they depicted these institutions accurately, boredom would be a bigger problem than outrage.
I’m pretty sure corrupt police unions are to blame for that, not a TV show, but since we seem to only try and fix societal issues through media I suppose Dick Wolf should get on it!
Wait till he finds out that the healthcare system bears absolutely no resemblance to “Grey’s Anatomy.”

Nice price for someone with welding/fab skills looking for a project, no dice otherwise.
aw… fuck it. I’ll zip up my flame retardant coveralls and risk the wrath.
Blast From the Past should be a classic. I’ve watched that movie probably 50 times. Brendan Fraser, Alicia Silverstone, Christopher Walkin and Sissy Spacek.
I think this demonstrates the difference between watching a movie in a theater and watching it on a TV.
Schneider is an idiot. SNL has always been political and I am not sure their politics were well hidden. At best, Schneider was on at a time when apolitical bits were probably a bit more prevalent, but I think that had more to do with the writers’ sensibilities.
Shit... I thought this was the new McDLT for a second. Hot stays hot, cold stays cold.

This one sits in that interesting zone between outdated and classic. The stick and wagon body give it some serious enthusiast cred, and I’m guessing an enthusiast pounced on it since the ad is already down. NP.
I mean possibly but whether she’s white or black we should probably be supporting her if she was forced to kill someone to protect herself from friggen domestic violence, shouldn’t we? Making this kind of thing into a team sport isn’t going to help anyone at all.
