It’s silly, turn your brain off fun that would only work with a guy like Ritchson in the role.

I think she said what she had to say gracefully and with great compassion for her grandmother and what she experienced. Congratulations, though, on countering that with an incredibly idiotic post because you want to make her seem ridiculous for displaying an actual sense of everyone’s shared humanity.

Just 2 days ago Kotaku sister site AVClub took pleasure in piling on an Asian woman for speaking with a ‘blaccent.’ Everyone is starting to get splattered with this shit now.

This crap makes me wish D&D would go back to being something we all just kinda did in secret with our friends and the greater population shunned it.

This is overblown criticism, but consistent with how this site has been moving towards. It feels like most articles are just some variation of “Hey! Popular thing is actually bad!”

So....a solution? Sounds like you don’t want them to explore these cultural identifiers and the explorer-genre tropes. Should half the cast be fired and people you find “approved” be playing this game?

This may seem like an overly cynical and bad-faith interpretation of what Critical Role is doing with this new campaign.”

Well deserved - I get the complaints that the show is cliche. But it was also a blast. Ritchson is great in the lead role and watching him use his frame in action scenes is a lot of fun. The supporting cast was great too (sad that most will likely be dropped given they’re not in other books). And the story was

If this is a romantic partner... make better choices.

I believe I have just read the perfect sentence.

8 grand for that wax banana is straight clown tits.

Recognition doesn’t have a brain as we understand it. It is a AI designed to post the absolute most extreme left culture stance here. I’m pinko liberal asshole and even I disagree with its stance much of the time.

A debate over cultural appropriation and Awkwafina’s blaccent you say?

Lee stiffing the contractor and then threatening him with a gun was a big part of the first episode. I don’t know if it’s accurate to what happened in this case, but it’s plausible and those situations do happen. If you didn’t know where the story was going, the carpenter would be sympathetic in the first episode. The

Well, Awkwafina isnt actively “doing” anything, she is just talking how she has learned to talk over the course of her life. She isnt imitating anything, thats...just how she talks. She is just a new target for people to be angry at.

All these jokes had me in stitches.  I really enjoyed the one where Cartman said they had to be brave, but not too brave, otherwise Matt Damon would come and take all their money.

Honda driver was a Dick, Raptor driver was a Dick.
Honda ended up losing
Don’t be a Dick

I’m not going to ascribe a percentage of responsibility to either driver, but it should be noted that in addition to the brake checking, the truck also sped up to block the lane and prevent the Accord from completing its dangerous maneuver.

The Raptor driver wasn’t just left lane squatting. He was actively blocking the Accord. Pay attention to the acceleration of the Raptor when the Accord moves to pass on the shoulder. The Raptor driver went well past being “rude.”

The Raptor was brake-checking and sped up to block the Accord; that behavior could have easily killed somebody, and not just the asshole in the Accord.
