I love Michael Keaton so much! He’s hilarious in Night Shift and even though it’s a bit of a family movie and not so “cool”, Mr. Mom is awesome. He brought so many little great moments to it.

There’s not too many on youtube, but his appearances on Letterman were always great too. He and Dave are old friends and worked

The way Hulu handles credits is fucking horrible. I turned off autoplay and skipped to the end (where the preview ACTUALLY SHOWS YOU that there are more credits in the file and a credits scene), and it STILL closed the episode! Seeing as Hulu is now the permanent digital home for all things FX, they need to get this

Best episode since Jackie Daytona and easily in the top-5 of the series so far. Just crazy funny, inventive and original. The show at its best. The harmonica swallow was a riot.

This was awesome.

Absolutely fascinated by the mindset that leads someone to brag about this incident like it’s a fun story and not a deeply embarrassing event in your life.

I understand Washington’s position. He thinks he’s in charge, and the ad lib could come off as a stage direction. That’s undermining his authority, and it’s kind of hard to be the boss with two people trying to be in control. If he’s more conciliatory as an actor, I don’t consider him in the wrong.

He told her not to direct an actor to do someting opposite of what he intended, and she said this is my show motherfucker.. yup both abusive.

I love that she’s so confident this story makes her look good. Any random look through social media today will probably disabuse her of that.

I think calling anyone “fucker” or “motherfucker” or anything else in a professional setting is playing with fire.

I think after about a decade and change of republicans getting completely dunked on by these shows, they looked to Trump and got a major, empowering lesson from him: Never apologize, never be ashamed, just keep moving and eating and legislating and court-packing and smiling and lying and white-power marching until the

“Secondary Character Wants Change, Has No Ideas.” Good job, AVClub. I should have looked at who wrote this before I bothered reading it.

I’ve always thought that they should explore more of the “Double-O” universe. It’s canon that Bond is just one of the agents with a license to kill, but in nearly 50 years of movies we’ve rarely seen any of the others. So if I were king of the universe, their next movie would focus on 008 or 009 - who can be anyone

If you’re old enough/judged responsible enough to drive a vehicle on public roads, you’re old enough/responsible enough to face adult charges for vehicular crimes.

Yeah, but from their point of view giving money to the families of Lee and Ditko and Kirby and whatnot opens the door to claims from everyone who ever worked on the characters. Take Spider-Man, for example. Yeah, Lee and Ditko created him, but the character wouldn’t be what he is today without ideas that originated in

“(which also fold in a suit from Larry Lieber, co-creator of Iron Man, Thor, and Ant-Man, and younger brother of Stan Lee)“

I’m a writer too and every place I’ve worked had me sign something that said, “What you write for us belongs to us.” Like, if you work for a big company like Microsoft or Google or whatever, and you design a new product for them.. you don’t then own that product. You can’t take it with you when you leave and you can’t

I work as a writer (nothing exciting, believe me) and it is just accepted that whatever I create at work belongs to my employer. Is this not that same situation? Granted, I’m producing corporate soulless drivel, but I assume the underlying idea is the same. As much as I want to be on the side of the creatives, I don't

A purity test she built for herself. A purity test she weaponizes against everyone else.
