Oh gods. Jace.

I don't have the reaction time I did when I was in my 20s. And real life interferes with my gaming. Stupid work and adult responsibilities. If I could game as much as the younger folk, I would, but that is not in the cards once you reach a certain age. I still try to get my game on as much as possible.

I'm usually in party chat when I am on the 360. When I do venture into an FPS multiplayer alone, I will have my headset on, but I will remain silent until I can determine what type of people I've been matched up with. If they seem to be amiable, I'll speak up. Then I either get two reactions. One is the "A girl?

Oh dear gods. Someone please hand her a towel so she can dry off.

Hearted!

It has to be said:

I think I saw these on Kotaku(?) a while back. If I remember correctly, I had nightmares that night. Though I don't know if it was the creepy baby dolls or the pizza I decided to devour and wash down with a bottle of wine.

I wandered around for a bit with him by my side, dungeon crawling, completing side quests, being a general nuisance to highwaymen, and so forth. By the time I decided to

I wonder when exactly they decided to abandon this approach to hook casual gamers?

She can't place blame on anyone but herself and her son. I cannot fathom not checking credit card statements for that extended period of time, and not utilizing parental controls on the console. That's why there are there!

@Slothboy: To be honest, I find the Lego games revoltingly fun. It's a nice break from my usual rotation of FPS and RPGs. They aren't the greatest in terms of gameplay mechanics (and I agree about the camera tilting), but a nice distraction.

Okay. I admit it. I laughed HARD at the video. I spilled my water too.

@ATimson: You brought up an excellent point. Internet connection. I didn't think about that. I would have to re-evaluate my position if dial-up was the only internet connection I could get.

@joker999: Do you think the fact that we are gamers helped make the decision? Sure we don't have cable, but we game, so that's an entertainment source there.
