Based on Curiosity's total weight of approx. 2000 pounds on Earth, on Mars each bolt is supporting approx. 9 pounds (not counting momentary stresses). Each bolt could easily support over a 100 pounds.
BTW, I misspoke, there are no nuts. The bolts screw into machined and threaded components.
Yup, it happens sometimes. A few less nuts and bolts and they could have opted for thicker skin on the wheels.

Looks like they could have done some weight reduction on the number of bolts and washers around that central hub. I'm guessing that their are 14 nuts and bolts. I believe it's a little overkill.

I agree. They may be able to create a duplicate of you, but they will never be able to actually transfer your consciousness into anything. The same reason the so called transporters will never work. They may be able to re-create a duplicate(replacement), but it will never be you.
