Make sure you watch the very end of the video before coming to any conclusions as to how bad this really is.

Maybe you didn't make it to the end, where they spin out and proceed to miss what appears to be some sort of VW hatch by mere inches, forcing the cars behind to nearly stop on the narrowest part of the track. Their last few laps were well beyond mere fun, they were a danger to themselves and other drivers on the…
Pretty much any selection of post-war British sports cars would suffice, but I'll pick the Sprite because it's so damn cute it looks hilarious with two big guys in it (watch the Wheeler Dealers episode... LOL).
I see. So, content can avoid the Awesomeness Manifesto [jalopnik.com] so long as the price is right? And even though you've done stories in the past bashing bloggers paid to write stories [jalopnik.com] , the real problem was really that they just weren't doing it as well as you're going to write paid-for-posts?
Absolutely. Let's not go back and dig up the stuff Clinton or Obama or Bush or... heck just about anyone was in when they were teenagers. Who gives a crap? That's why we don't allow teenagers to run for President. If they want to report on something he did 5 years ago, sure, let's hear it. Something he did in…
I can't speak for the other groups, but SCCA has VERY strict dB limits for competitors and they take them seriously for exactly this reason. I've not been to it, but from my experience with the typical drifting crowd, I'm betting they aren't quite as regimented in controlling their dBs.
Uh, what?

This. Followed by one of the most famous motorcycle racing quotes of all time, and in quintessential Roberts deadpan style, "They don't pay me enough to ride that thing."
... I'll accept this.
I think I sense a change in the Jalop statement. V6 Mustang is the answer to all questions.
Cost to own for TWENTY YEARS?!!?! Umm yeah, no. Hardly anyone in America keeps a single car for 20years straight. Heck, even 10 years is probably in the minority.
No, asshole, it doesn't mean you get the right to injure someone, as I'm sure you'll find out in court if you do that.
Probably just a headlight modulator. Those are legal for motorcycles in some states, and as you guess, it's solely to help visibility.
They are. It's just a much lower success rate.
Writing Protip: It would be pertinent to note that lane splitting is legal ONLY in California.
That is some amazing fail on so many levels.
Mostly this + better engineering + far smarter electronic control systems that can mostly save even terrible driving. Those level of cars have been around for about 10 years now, meaning they're starting to displace older, less safe cars.
Soccer. Top Gear has already showed us the way. It's like demolition derby combined with the world's most popular sport.
