Hi, technical bastard here. Just to point out, should you find yourself shopping with that few extra grand you saved by not buying a Camry Hybrid, that you actually want to buy a car *lift*, preferably with posts and arms. That's the thing that allows you to work under a car. Whereas, as you can see from the photo,…
Street tires vs. drag tires. You're in different ball parks. The Dart wouldn't get anywhere near 10.5 on even modern street tires; never mind the skinny bias ply crap from the 60s.
That's because the crank firing order is completely different on the new 5.0s. Similarly, if you listen to an LS1 and a 60s Chevy 350 side by side, they sound very different because of the different crank firing order.
I bet if you told that guy that this IS an inline 4, his head would explode.
YES! And those are its wheels! And it will have a super coupe rear window and roofline!
Approved. Go forth and comment wisely.
Let's be honest: for network TV, that's about as good as it's going to get. Pretty decent little chase with some great driving. But most importantly, they didn't put anything over the sound. That's a job properly done.
He was the one who figured it out first, somehow, so props go to him. But yes, pretty crazy. Hopefully will get to go ride with him soon...

Better weight distribution. Cars (especially BMW executive sedans) often only have one person in the car, the driver. Therefore, they put the battery on the passenger side in the truck to help achieve 50/50 weight distribution fore/aft and port/starboard.
Well if you didn't write 'EXCLUSIVE' on a big white banner across the corner of your #tips post, they weren't interested.
Finally! Now I can have that JALOPNIK sponsored race bike I've always dreamed of... what do you guys pay in contingency?
Nevermind the "Take back our Highways" crap they pull every holiday. Also, pretty crazy that I met your younger brother on here.
Jalop photo tips. Great stuff. The best shots ALWAYS come after the posed crap is over with and everybody gets comfortable.
I approve both this reference and this analogy. Unrelated: excellent job on your Formula-J debut!
That is absolutely hideous. Microsoft, wanna know what's a really great promotion for your products? Really good products and people love to use.
Keep driving and enjoying it. Have less money for everything else.
I'm with you. I LOVE the *idea* of the car. But it's priced too high. The FR-S needed to start at $19, and the BRZ at $22 or so. That would've put it in its own market and it would've appealed to "cheap car" buyers.
I won't repeat what everyone else said, but it sounds like you've never driven a Mustang. Go try it. Seriously. I bet you'll change your tune.
