Obviously it's a convoluted subject with a lot of argument behind it, but it had to be mentioned to describe the reasoning behind the point. It could be more simply stated from Mazda's point of view as the following:

You own Pagani?!

Don't lament the loss of the rotary. Mazda's only making a wise business decision; you can't fault them for trying to stay alive so that at least they can make some other fun cars, too.

I know nothing about the founder of Pagani. But I do know a good bit about Argentina, the relevant bit of which is that it has a ton of Italian immigrants there. So, the fact that he's from Argentina doesn't necessarily mean he speaks Spanish rather than Italian.

I saw this when Spike put it in oppo the other day, and my sentiments haven't changed.

A similar one hit somewhere in the east coast and/or easing into the "midwest" region about 10 years ago, and was felt even further away than this one b/c it was deeper. We felt it in AL. There are fault lines here, too, just not nearly what they have out West. As you note, it's extremely rare that they cause any

So realistic, you'll find out why you need these.

The car is mostly a visual improvement - I mean, at least it now has something identifiable as "lines." It's just a shame that front bumper melted.

I haven't read the press release (they do at least expect me to be awake at work), but I assume that's where you got that info. If so, though the car may still be beige, those are certainly quantifiable, and not only that, good improvements. Lighter? Amazing. Lets hope Toyota can turn that into a market trend too,

Fake manual autos have a special place in hell, along with the beige drivers who think they have the same gearbox as a Ferrari.

Cross-post to Jezebel.

Steve Jobs' parking spot.

What is that from? I'm assuming that's fake. Or there's a stunt driver with a broken back.

Awesome photo. I love the historical "typical day" photos - they seemingly mean nothing when they're taken, but in reality, they're the most important pictures you can take because it freezes reality in a time machine to be discovered once again years later.

I ride on a vehicle with no doors... I wholly support this sentiment. Cages FTL.

Seriously, who else rides down the road on a vehicle with no body and nothing but a helmet to protect them? Those people must be insane.

So, you're saying there are gay cars? I thought gays were trying to get away from adjective usage. Or, are you taking a tip from other cultural subsets and "claiming it" for yourselves and no one else?

Pagani Zonda R. The entire ass end of this car is among the best ever conceived. And now you've lost Wert for the rest of the day.

YES. This is easily the best piece of news I've read today. And this is why Jalopnik rules.
