Scrolling through the comments here... no one's excited about Danica's 2nd career win? Even though she had just as little input into making this one happen? lol

Since car companies are such wonderful models to follow for financial decision-making...
Hey, somebody put Ferrari badges on a clown shoe and left it at the airport.
Radical's SR8 lap. I think it still holds the record for "street legal" cars.
Ah, so that's where TVR's stylists went. Well, at least it's not beige.
Fantastic. Carolla will do 10 minutes of "cars that look like my penis," followed by 10 minutes of the other guys doing "product spotlight" segments. Then back to fake drag racing run by the guy who can't ride motorcycles.
From your citation: "However, among engine professionals, "afterfire" is the term used to describe ignition of fuel within the engine exhaust system and "backfire" is the term used to describe this same process taking place in the induction system, primarily in internal combustion engines. The separate terms are…
Backfire would have flames coming out the carbs/throttlebodies. These flames are generated by closed throttle unburnt fuel hitting very, very hot exhaust pipes an igniting.
That's a nice turbo M3. I can't wait for the M5 to come out.
This remains my favorite lap of the 'ring in a "street legal" car. Video quality sucks, but it's still incredible. Gotta love at 1:20, the car's bottoming out at, I dunno, 160mph+, the driver thinks "maybe I should tighten these belts..."
The most appalling thing is that this rolling death trap is somehow still "legal" on US roads. Can you even SEE the tail light (assuming it even has one)? And I'm sure those re-purposed fog lights are highly effective headlights. Never mind all the weight he's added, which I'm sure he's taken into account by…
"to think on the engineers that designed this bike..."
I was almost with you... until that last part.
While Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen would be fantastic tracks for F1, both would need to have virtually the entire track redesigned in terms of moving walls, fan access, gravel pits, etc; to the tune that it would likely approach the expensive of just building a new track.
... and nothing of value was lost. Meanwhile, Red Bull are buying another hangar in which to store their F1 trophy collection.
Needs more monkey... and one less wheel. [www.youtube.com]
Well Nibbles won't let me edit and it looks like it ate my video link, so here: [www.youtube.com]
Oh yes indeed. It plays sweet, sweet mechanical music. That's literally most of the reason I bought the bike... I LOVE the sound.
