OTBA = Off Topic But Awesome
AWESOME! Now, when do tickets go on sale? And please don't tell me I have to personally fellate Bernie to afford them.
Right, you revved it to 5,000rpm and dropped the clutch. Wow, how in the world do you manage to maintain traction on the street? It must be really hard to keep it under control coming out of a 3rd gear sweeper at 50mph.
Brutal as that is, I can't help but wonder how much it would suck riding a hard tail motorcycle over country dirt roads. But I also want to know what it is... it'd have to be a very early BMW to have only a single cylinder.
Hi, we're Jalopnik; have we met?
Legally, probably yes b/c I assume they're using the Lotus chassis VIN. But in reality, there's very, very little lotus left in that car aside from a vague resemblance of shape. Most of the chassis is rebuilt, the body almost entirely (if not entirely) custom-spec'd, GM powerplant (the block, anyway), different…
Beat me by a minute... well played. Anyway this car is the all-time king of tuner cars. Period. Lotus chassis, LSx engine, copious turbos, Zeus-like power, CF-everything, top speed of light...
You say "AWD isn't a solution for traction problems," then talk about traction (power to the ground is accomplished by... traction; control surfaces function because of... traction).
... why the heck would you need AWD with 120hp? That's barely enough HP to break loose any tire, let alone any halfway decent performance tire.
What, Hennessey didn't have a stock Veyron handy to beat by 0.001 and then claim they make the fastest car in the world?
You sir have had a bit too much of that pipe. Go take a cold shower and come back to reality... where you'll be aghast to see you called a Chevy Lumina good looking.
RedBud is also the most ridiculously awesome Motocross National track, partly b/c it features LaRocco's Leap - the 120' uphill triple jump, over which riders get about 4 stories high. Coming up short often breaks wheels and has even been known to bend footpegs and frames.
She went to buy flowers.
